If i make extra on my bud cool. If it's my lifeblood then i will act accordingly with my prices. MY choice on where i set my prices based on market demand.

We don't have medical here, but I was a dispensary for a brief period of time, and nobody complained about my standard for top shelf shit as long as the product fell within the range of what's accepted as top shelf around here, I couldn't grow it fast enough to sell at $20 a gram.

Dispensaries are staying in business at $20 a gram, and people are buying it hand over fist, or the price would have come down. Is this basic concept too difficult for you to grasp?
 
WOW. well agree with you both i guess. top grade shit should be that expensive if people are willing to buy it like that.
I guess its the consumers who set the price, since all theyd have to do is boycot those prices. and for those who cant afford theses prices should consider growing there own.
my bro in law has a cali card and says most cali sells shit around 10 a g.

Again, I don't live in a med state, nor know what the going rate of product from a licensed distributor is. All I know is economics, and I can tell you marijuana prices are highly price elastic with respect to demand, and in the end it's the consumer that determines the prices. If I did live in a med state, I would either buy from the dispensaries, or if I had a problem with their prices I would grow my own, I wouldn't complain about their prices, just the same as I wouldn't go to a store and complain about their prices.

THAT brother, we can agree on. If the market can bear $20 g's then so be it. But PLEASE let me offer $5 g's as well especially if they are lower quality than the "avg" grow.

not just the dispensary but the growers too need to stop selling it for so much

the only thing to do is to stop buying and start growing in masses maybe one day we can have pounds and pounds of marijuana flowing just like how we have of tomatoes now days. and we can get our 5 dollar grams :)

you should just start your own outdoor grow and realize how hard it is, then you'll have all the weed you want and you'll eventually agree with everyone else how much cannabis should cost.

people who aren't on the side of the outdoor grower working hella hard to do this really have no fucking conception of how much weed /should/ cost.
 
I buy from a dispensary, every strain is 7.50$ a gram. Ounces you pay 6.25$ a gram, if you buy by the Oz.
Not a rip off at all, depends which ones you're going to I guess

here is what i am going to do just to prove a decent amount of weed can be grown with out alot of cash. i am legal but i have a grower so this will be in the woods only a few plants from seed. i just want to prove that you can get an oz off of 1 plant with nothing more then water, care and some horse poo and free amendments. if i can do this witch i know i can then it would mean a legal grower who in their back yard has control over every thing could do it as well for just as cheap but most likely better since it is in the back yard.

i said it before and will say it again. fuck all dispensaries almost all of them are a rip off.
the reason i became a med patient was to stop paying for the meds and i have stopped paying now for 2 years and its great. my growers never ask for money and since they never do i always give them a donation of what i can at the end of summer, if they ask for cash though i just say fuck them and get a new grower.

i will start a thread i the outdoor section if any of you want to follow it this year so i can prove qaulity bud and a decent amount can be grown for FREE.

good luck with growing your "free" weed. you'll most likely invest hours upon hours of time and hard labor and harvest next to nothing, or some bug infested, moldy crap weed.

bonus: you'll be risking yourself by breaking the law in the process, not a good idea for anyone, much less a convicted felon.

backyard isn't any easier. although i plan to sneak a few into the nooks and corners of my yard, if i want to grow anything significant it will require me to erect a greenhouse. costs for that start at around $350 bare minimum.

but go ahead, prove me wrong and risk your freedom by doing it.

they are perfectly within the law to do so. they are entitled to reimbursement for supplies and utilities used to produce your "free" medicine.

other people you have bitched at for wanting to make money by satisfying the market demand for meds have told me you were a felon.

i'm just saying you'll likely get nothing as far as return on investment and walk away with a respect for how much work and sweat equity goes into even the simplest little grow.

but good luck risking your freedom in the process. i'll say to you the same thing my dad said to me when i got my first credit card: "you're playing with fire, shithead". no insult intended, just warning you.
