i havent read the entire thread, only first page.

What was the problem with the plant after all? Personally, from the pics and the way op seems to over-do and over-react, im guessing calcium lockout due to much K-P ferts

Sorry to hear that you gave up, unfortunate that these grow forums drill into people that if it's not done perfectly right and yielding 2L soda bottle sized AAAAAAA+ then just give up ... when you can get perfectly smokeable and decent quality even from a plant that had some problems during its grow, or worst comes to worst you can use to make oil or for baking.

Funny you say that. We pump out about 25+ lbs at a time, and we don't even smoke the bud. We smoke the trim from the GreenBroz. Not a big smoker myself, but the Mrs. and friends do. We've tried both, and I can't really tell a difference. So, yeah.... grow it, smoke it and be happy.

The problem ended up being too much light. Stunted the plant, but recovered after dimming it down. Bought a Lux meter since, it's a must with these samsung diodes.

Hey since you bought a lux meter... any chance you could compare the meter to any of the popular lux meter apps available for Android phones? I've been messing around with a couple of apps but I'm not convinced of their accuracy enough to trust them.

The lux app I used was probably in the ballpark of the Dr. lux meter I bought.

The cons about the apps is that it takes an average over a period of time and updates the value. You should be able to move your phone up/down/left/right and get a different readings within less than a second. I wanted real time and accurate values so I bought a meter. Worth the $$

Oh getting one is on my ever and constantly expanding list of things to buy. Too bad there's no by-mail rental of light meters. I really just want an accurate one to measure a new tent with new lights and get baselines. After that, I'll probably not need to use further for years - so I always find other things to buy that are higher priority.

I suppose I could buy one from Amazon or something with a no questions asked return policy, and just return it after using. But that seems a little scummy to me. lol
