I didnt see his ppm was 500 just went off what he said it was high enough to burn tips
Still doesnt rule out a npk ratio problem.

I think he is going to see a mutation or defect in the clipping if he pulls it out. Maybe the roots are decaying. Idk but either way it best bet is to Pull it out u cant wait for it to infect the rest of ur crop if it is disease. But it's a potential threat to ur garden. Make ur decision

Again, all things you would say to someone that doesn't know what they are doing.... Ph pens go bad... Recalibrate.... So you honestly nit think I ran through the basic avenues guys.... Those are newbile statements... Where are the master hydro farmers at..... I'm gonna pull the plant if I don't hear any strong thoughts soon, but the inability to solve and fix or better the issue is bugging me for sure..... Dig deeper guys

dude you say you have been growing for 20 years.... what have you been growing. cuz obviously you are still stuck on the fact that you still have a problem not a defect. if you dont know and are asking us. we are giving you simple answers. dont get all high and mighty runnin us like your "guys" cuz we are the ones trying to help you. I said you should pull it and examine the corpse to find out the issue and learn from it. like most of us "VET" Growers do to LEARN. SO you say you have a problem with one plant in an NFT type rig right? ok then. So the top tier is experiencing difficulty in one tube? ok so pull the whole plant out if you can dont kill it but yank her out. afterwards run some superthrive through the res to resist some shock. other than that i think you are SOL. just pull her out and look at her roots man. see if there is any pythium.

how long have you been doing hydro????????????????????

You two are definitely not in the realms of master growers... Newbies trying to flex your new found knowledge is all you showed with your baseline suggestions.... Anyway for the future aero farmers and hydro warriors, my issue turned out to be pests in my root zone.... I pulled the plant and the roots had been decimated by root aphids and fruit flies.... I will run a cold eTernal flush for a few days to try and rid a many bugs a possible.... If you have grown hydro for any amount of time you have probably had issues wiyh gnats, but the root aphids multiply like you just can't fathom.... Dealt with them before an they are ten times worse then spidermites as far a there reproduction rate.... Didn't want to have to pull the plant but seeing it when the lights came on showed it was not gonnacome back and if it did it would be wayyyy down the road...

Dude im with valleygrown, something is locking out your N, is the plant next to it that is also affected downstream or up? if its down then its confirmed a fungis is eating your N from the plants roots, pull the bitch and do a autopsy on her, you wont "know" what the problem is untill you look at the root climate....20yrs, ya learn something new everyday?

edited: well now you know the prob, i was right and i been growing hydro for 2wks, but i have read for over 2yrs.....
