i got a Q about the 400w hps system

is a 400 watt hps with the 400 watt ballast make my light bill go up 200 bucks an wat you think is a good bulb for vegg an flowering for a iight price.,,, im thinking bout steppin up my game cuzz the cfls are iight but dont cut it,... so u any1 got somthin 2 say, speek ya mind cuz i dont kno:confused:,... thanks:blsmoke:

what kind of yield are you getting with the cfl's? what kind of yields are you expecting to get with a 400w?

thanks an with the cfls im getting like 4 oz every harest an im tryin 2 get like at least 1/2 a pound, how much u think ill yield with a 400 watter

are we talking per plant here? because I'm growing with a 400watt'r with 5 plants in my room and I don't foresee yielding more than 8 oz total with all my plants...

Right above my join date there is a metal bell thing just click that. Yes it only 30 -45 dollar it depends on where you live.

A 400w will raise your bill ~$30 as stated above.

Metal halide is the best HID for veg, but CFL's and t5 fluorescent tubes work well too.

I don't think you'll get 8oz per plant either...maybe one HUGE plant vegged a few months and trained into a bush could come close, but under a 400w you're only getting so much light penetration. But 2-3 is a realistic goal...

I say go for a 400w hps and veg with cfls. That's what I use and I'm happy.

ooo so its all the same shitt, iight, i just need better then cflz(wat i got now) an i got like fuckin nine of em, i want i light that does the job an ant exspensive, cuzz i got the hdroponics shitt (water farm systems), an its like im putting rocket fual in a bet honda, u kno wat im sayin, an thanks for the rep thing homie..

i have a 600 hps and a 400 hps the 600 uses 8 dollars a month and the 400 uses 4.38 a month. that aint shit ya know?

I use a 600 hps and a 400 hps 3 100 hps lamps and 6 four foot 2 tube t8s. I harvest 4 oz easy off each plant. Promix superthrive, ff tiger bloom, ff grow big, blood meal, bone meal, wormcastings, and guano....4 is very doable.......
