I Got BudRot!!!!

Okay me and my buddy are growing 6 plants outdoor in my greenhouse. there about 6 feet tall and 2 days ago i began to see signs of bud rot. Ive cut out the problem areas but the next day more shows up. What are my options. Were only like 3 weeks away.

Note: I live in British Columbia (hence the name) And the weather has been rainy.

is it possible to add a small portable heater in your green house??? that would take away the humidity, or a de-humidifier would work too. but since its outside i'd go with a small heater and some fans on a timer to take out some of the heat every few hours or so

i have a 8" inline fan for exhaust with carbon filter, but no intake usually i open the door for 30 mins or so, as for the heater its very possible but it might be a huge waste of electricity. Its made of PVC vapor barrier and 1/2 pvc pipe.

you may have to harvest early... bud rot is hard to stop...its a fungus thats easily spread by air to other buds and before you know it you done have shit left. I just had to harvest a lil early due to bud rot.

whats the best way to avoid bud rot. mines only 15 days into flowering. I got a de-humidifier goin, but is there anything else i can do to prevent it!

cut out the rot, dont touch other buds and spread it, get a fungacide spray and mist, and if you have a humid enviorment the run a fan on low, not directly on plants.

THAT'S RIGHT YOU MAY HAVE TO HARVEST EARLY. BUD MOLD IS THE MOST COMMON MOLD, BUT IF YOU CATCH IT EARLY AND QUARANTINE THE AFFECTED PLANTS YOU SHOULD BE IN GOOD SHAPE. IF YOU WANT TO LET THEM GROW A LITTLE MORE YOU SHOULD HAVE A FAN IN THERE TO REMOVE ANY EXCESS MOISTURE AND TO PROMOTE GOOD AIR FLOW.:weed:

The best way to prevent bud mold is to keep your growroom and tools clean. Also, if you could keep the humidity at or below fifty percent that would be your best bet. Now in order to get rid of bud rot, that's another story. Here is how you do it.... You can't, once bud mold is in your plant it's just a matter of time before it dies. You should gauge how far along your rot is, if you think you can make it to harvest go for it, but i should warn you. Bud rot can destroy a whole garden in a week or two. It's your choice.

Cut out the sections that have bud rot also remove the stem as well where the infected area is. Bud rot always comes from the inside, and usually the stem is affected in that area. I just had to deal with the same issue a few days ago, and when I looked inside where I had cut, I noticed the stem was brownish colored. So I removed the section and cut the top of my favorite cola off cause it was closer to the top(bummer) and haven't had a problem since. Cross the fingers.

I had it on a sweet plant this year. I kept cutting off the buds and branches that were affected and tried to let the healthy stuff mature longer. Every two days I would go check and there would be more in new spots. It also spread to another plant that was at least 5 yards away. I should have cut it down instead of trying to control it because it never quit spreading and ended up costing me more in the long run.

I've been dealing with the same thing, first in my indoor and now in my outdoor. Its a humidity/air flow thing I guess, and when I remedied the humidity and put in an additional fan it quit spreading. Where it was infected turned brown and died. Where it was alive looked a lot like really dense spiderwebs and affected the densest parts of the buds which didn't see much air flow. Its a sad state of affairs, but chop it out and hopefully you are close enough to harvest that it won't affect much.

it may be a small bit of it. It looks like some I've got. Your bud was able to do most of its finishing before it got hit though it looks like. All the rain we had in July from the hurricanes caused all of the rot in my garden.
