Yes, I get the waterfall in every bucket, but the air the waterfall is mixing is stagnant in the bucket, right? I mean there's no fresh air going into the bucket so eventually the O2 will be depleted....at least to some level where it equilibrates with diffusion of air on the other side of the net pot, but there's not an active flow of fresh air into the bucket headspace replacing the stagnant air, right? That's why I was thinking the venturi would be a good thing because it would pull in fresh air from outside the bucket to replace/refresh the stagnant air inside the bucket headspace. Does that make sense?
Another question, different but related topic, what are the recommended inline/not-in-sump pumps to use for an 8 bucket setup with say 30gsl res. Thinking of using 12gal totes for plants and 30-60 gal res tote with waterfall. Probably go with a 900gph pump I'm assuming.
