Without germs the world would be littered with dead bodies. I think they get a bad rap sometimes just because some of them make us sick.

derailed thread lol
naw tbh i dont care if you agree or disagree about what im doing
just though i would let people know that i have the balls to go out there alone and speak my mind in the real world, not just on the internet
i stand behind what i believe, and there is no doubt i will be mocked, and i embrace it
well - they're just wrong then, now aren't they.![]()
Aint it the truth, years seem like months, months seem like days and days seem like minutes. Seems like just last month it was Christmas and here we go again. My grandaughters will be asking for the keys to my truck any minute now, (7 and 9). BTW, I'm 68.LOL
I guess I'll find out soon enough!
( I wish there was a way to slow down the merry go round of life...but it keeps accelerating)

I won't be mocking you. Mercury is a poison. One of the most toxic substances known to man. If one chooses to get these vaccines it's important to know that they are available without thimerasol. I won't get one that has that garbage in it.derailed thread lol

This is true to a point. Vaccines do save live. We don't have to worry about many diseases now that just a few decades ago killed or crippled many. We are breeding superbugs with the overuse of antibiotics but that is a different thing than vaccination. I agree that using a mercury based preservative in vaccinations seems pretty stupid to me but the FDA has stated there is no significant difference in risk of autism or whatever in populations who receive these vaccinations and those who don't. We do have a much better quality of life largely due to antibiotics and vaccinations. We live longer than we did a few decades ago. I take my chances with vaccinations because the risk of dying from the diseases they prevent is much greater than the complications caused by the vaccinations. I do think the FDA needs to reevaluate this preservative and perhaps find a safer alternative. Much of it comes down to money I'm afraid.i find it amazing/amusing that we try to avoid these innocuous little buggers by infusing our bodies with potentially harmful and often shoddily tested substances, when maintaining a relatively healthy diet and lifestyle would be sufficient to keep most of our problems at bay. we surround ourselves with a miasma of noxious chemicals to kill them off and slather ourselves with lotions and ointments to stave off any possible infection. what is it we get out of all this but ever more lethal viruses and immune systems that can't even handle the most mundane of pests. at best we add a few paltry years to our existence, but we usually spend that extra time drooling and soiling ourselves.
we have a much greater quantity of life, but i wonder how much its quality has actually improved. so much of our increased longevity is the result of access to better foods and simply taking better care of ourselves. as a society we over-medicate ourselves to the point that we have become psychologically dependent on the nostrums of this cult of medicine. take a trip down the cold and flu remedy aisle some day and just try to count the number of cures lined up there for that undefined "achy feeling". we run to the doctor whenever we feel a bit "run down" and the medical establishment is quick to make up a new syndrome or disease for even the most innocuous symptom. we are a society of hypochondriacs and puling children, enthralled with the magic of medicine. We do have a much better quality of life largely due to antibiotics and vaccinations.
Quality of life comes largely from the choices we make. Eating veggies instead of fast food, not smoking etc. Heredity decides the rest. I can't argue about the overmedicated part. The medical establishment keeps making up symdromes because there is a vast amount of profit to be made from these ailments. The pharmaceutical industry is responsible for a lot of that too. There are numerous commercials for the new wonder drug. Americans eat it up. And people can't seem to figure out why there is a drug problem in this country. It's symptomatic of a lot of the issues we face today. We increase productivity but do workers work less hours in a week? Stress is the unseen enemy today.we have a much greater quantity of life, but i wonder how much its quality has actually improved. so much of our increased longevity is the result of access to better foods and simply taking better care of ourselves. as a society we over-medicate ourselves to the point that we have become psychologically dependent on the nostrums of this cult of medicine. take a trip down the cold and flu remedy aisle some day and just try to count the number of cures lined up there for that undefined "achy feeling". we run to the doctor whenever we feel a bit "run down" and the medical establishment is quick to make up a new syndrome or disease for even the most innocuous symptom. we are a society of hypochondriacs and puling children, enthralled with the magic of medicine.
show me ANYTHING that is 100% safe.
Immune reactions are different than the problems potentially caused by thimerasol.
I also guarantee you most people who say "Vaccines are dangerous" don't even understands what is in a vaccine/what it does (biologically).
All of the side effects from Vaccinations are from each person's own immune response to them, which varies tremendously based on experiences, genetics, etc. You can't blame medicine or vaccinations.

There is no current vaccination for Staph/MRSA. I agree with you though. It's a risk benefit thing. Sometimes the risk of getting the vaccination outweighs the risk of getting sick. Sometimes, most of the time, the disease is way worse than the vaccination.I understand that, but without it, you would see even more adverse reactions from getting shots. Without it, bacteria, specifically staph, would be able to reproduce and eventually lead to a huge amount of staph infections. I'm sorry, but with the amount of MRSA we already have, thiomersal is the main reason we haven't seen even more.
Staph, MRSA specifically, is much more dangerous than the thiomersal found in shots. And while Swine Flu might not be as dangerous as the media makes it out to be, for immunocompromised people it can be deadly. There are also worries, as there are with any virus, that H1N1 could mutate into a much deadlier/more harmful version.

death holds absolutely no risk.
Cannabis has a pretty good track record.
