i should have been more clear. in my frustration last night i neglected to mention that the reason im not on my beloved PC is because im on vacation WAY WAY north in newhampshire, about 200 mi from my home. im staying at a lodge, run by an old lady who knows nothing about comuters. i would hate to change myself to the administrator and leave her in the dark when she tries to upgrade something in 5 yrs or something.
its peaceful up here and the air is nice and the view is pristine; however im a 25min ride from ANYTHING in the middle of nowhere and no ability to play more recent games. my portal to the outside world is this POS, outdated, alien apple, which even finding ot how to configure internet settings was a chore
what frustrates me more is how cheap beer is here. i know that normally wouldnt be a bad thing, but im with my parents who confuse my enjoyment of a few beers with alcoholism. normally a 30pk would cost like $25 before tax and deposit, here a 30pk is $14.99 no tax or deposit. what kicked me in the ass was a 6pk of miller for $3.49!!!!!!!
