Trump is just what Hillary needed. A Republican candidate so vile that they are compelled out of self preservation to come out & vote. A high dem voter turnout is curtains for the Republicans. It would have been better for the republicans to have a quiet sleepy candidate to lull the dems to sleep on election day......

The one feather in trumps hat at this point is his appeal seems to cross party lines.

He has been getting a lot more votes in open primaries than he does in closed ones. This means that those who are registered as Democrats are coming out to vote for Trump.

I think those are called "Reagan Democrats."

Trump, for whatever reason has a limited but broad base of support.

Trump has one demographic that will likely hold him back if he is the nominee. He is losing ground with female voters. If he can reverse that he will annihilate her. If he can't she will win.

But I have a strong feeling there will be 3 or more options on election day in November and this will be a unique election.

That is the conventional wisdom. But I wouldn't be shocked for by anything this election.

The young voters behind Sanders are going to be disenfranchised when the D party steals the nomination from him. I don't expect to see high turn out for Hillary.

If there are 2 people running from a republican side, Sanders might see an opening and we could have a 4 person election. Would love to see that.

A democrat in the white house will probably mean the Dems will also reclaim the Senate. The young Bernie voters should see the need to keep trump out of the white house & will come around eventually. If trump splits the party, it's a huge win for the democrats

That's totally true.

Do you think the Raygun Democrats remained Dems all these years? I don't think so. They became the Republican base in the south and mid-west a long time ago. There aren't really very many modern day Dems or Indies voting for Trump in the open primaries, not enough to make a difference given the relatively small population of Republican voters to start with.

Funny how calling women fat slobs, fat pigs or dogs and otherwise only recognizing pretty women as "having talent" puts him on the shit list for a large number of women. I guess Trump thought women thought with their vagina and would be attracted to his manly accumulation of cash. Or maybe he listened to his adoring daughter tell him how wonderful he is while he put his arm around her waist (icckkky).

But this thread is about disappointment and loathing for Hillary. She has it about sewn up. Tuesday is make or break for Sanders but not for the Hill Pill.

Bernie can't hold any punches back in the debate tonight, if he plans to win more than one state on Tuesday
