I have a little problem...

Recently I acquired multiple cuttings in the vegetative stage. They are approx. 1-1.5 ft tall on avg. They have been treated well with proper nutes and look amazing, and have been under 24h of light for the past 2-3 weeks. However, today I was surprised to discover that two were budding. The plants must have been inside a room when 12/12 was initiated before I received them, but I did not know of this.

Considering the plants are under a 400w fluorescent light and most of them are probably only a month old, and in no way ready to be flowered, this is obviously a problem. I AM in the process of getting a proper 1000w HPS, but that won't be for a few days, at the least. Also, one of them could sustain a harvest as it is older, has been pinched and bent many times and has 4 solid stems with much growth and is very strong and bushy. But the other one is in no way ready to flower. I am also worried about others popping buds in the coming days.

I am not familiar with the effects of attempting to revert back to vegetative growth once flowering has already commenced. I was not expecting this at all. My question is simple: What should I do? What are the effects, etc.? I am completely clueless in this aspect. I would appreciate any advice regarding this topic.

Are they an autoflowering strain? I don't know enough about them, but something to look into..
I'd just keep em on 24 till your ready.
I often take clones after my plants have been in flower for a couple weeks. The rooted cuttings grow a little goofy for a couple weeks - single leaves and kinda strechy, but went on to flower just fine a few weeks later.

Perhaps the mother plant was in flowering when the cuttings were made. 18/6 is veg 24hr for clone.
Give them some dark time to sort shit out.

I don't believe the cuttings were taken during flowering though. I'm pretty sure they were simply in the room while flowering was started because their was no other place to put them. That is how they ended up in my hands.

Also, they are not auto-flowering strains as far as I know. The two that are budding are OG UK Cheese, and OG Chem Diesel.

So you think I should just leave them as is? If I just keep them under 24 hours of light they will revert back to veg. stage with no issue?

I don't have pics yet, but I can post some I guess.

But I don't see how they could be maturing yet..they are still so young.

I will take some pics and post.

Oh, alright. I didn't understand at first, but I guess that makes sense. I don't really have much experience with clones yet, only seed. Either way, I will post some pics.

Overview:

- UK Cheese, Chem Diesel
- All from cuttings
- I also have multiple clones of Great White Shark x Some other shit that I forgot the name of.
- Under a 400w fl, pending the acquisition of a 1000w hps.
- First indoor grow. I've grown many times outdoors, but this here is a constant work n progress, although it is working out pretty well.

The plants are receiving a nutrient solution of:

10ml/g Canna A
10ml/g Canna B
10ml/g Rhizo
10ml/g Cannazym

They are also being sprayed once in a while with a 15ml/g Rhizo solution. They are sitting in Canna Coco Organic.

I am posting links, because the pictures showed up way too big and I didn't know how to change it.

That was what I was referring to earlier. Their are a few more, on another plant as well, but it wasn't even worth taking a picture of.

I talked to somebody and they said my plants were simply pre-flowering due to its already mature state. That obviously makes sense. I guess I just got a little paranoid and confused, haha.

As time goes on, I'll post more pics to show the development. Thanks for all the responses.

Yea, those smart pots are convenient. I took a chance, due to my buddy's advice, and used 7 and 10 gallon pots. He's been running the same strains under 1000w, 24h in 7's and 10's for 2 months now, and they are BEASTS. Now he's at 12/12 and they are beautiful.

So I am looking forward to a productive grow cycle, especially when I put in the new 1000w. Mainly though, I am looking at this as a learning experience, as indoor growing is completely new to me. I am very much looking forward to the next few months :).
