Hi guys I have access to seeds from 1996-1999 mostly from western Massachusetts Umass, Hampshire college and various phish head hippie connections all seeds are from "Kindbud" some labeled with names. They have been stored in plastic containers in the dark. Firstly is there any possible value not monetarily but possibly finding some oldschool important genetics. Also what the heck should I do?! Thanks all

Sounds pretty cool Steve! Are the seeds labeled? Strain names? Do you know how they have been stored the last 20+ years?

Pretty cool! Finding out the strains would be the first start. Old genetics are definitely awesome if you can get them to germinate, which is totally possible.

Cool. Was the metal box in the freezer? Reason I'm asking is 20 years is a stretch, so for such a long time you might have difficulty germinating them. But if you can get some to, that would be like going back in time and that's always cool. And if you know the strains, then yeah they'll have a lot of value too I would guess. There's a lot of videos and stuff online for starting old seeds. I even tried Gibberellic (spelling?) acid with some success but can't say it worked any better than just distilled water soaked overnight. Good luck!

You might have some luck popping them if you are careful. I’m jealous. Good for you man and good luck.
