i have bugs/gnats

I just started about 30 seedlings two days ago and i just noticed there are little gnats in the soil. Not many, but several. The soil im using is fox farm ocean forest, but its a bit old, i used it for my first grow about 8 months ago, and i left the soil sitting outside for days at a time. Im begining to wonder if i should start over with fresh soil? I would hate to waste all these good seeds tho.
Is there any spray or something i can get from home depot?

Put 1/4 inch of sand on top of your soil, that will suffocate what ever bugs/eggs are in the soil

i use go-gnats and fly paper, go-gnats will make them leave yur roots and the fly paper will catch them. the go gnats takes a few doses to work, but trust me it will save yor roots from gnat disease and damage.

use sticky pad or double sided tape an spray with neem oil its excellent
