I have no idea what im doing.

Befor i start i want to say i tried reading alot of grow guides, and i cannot for the life of me comprehend what they are saying.

I just recently started groing a couple plants from seeds found in a bag. I know they might not turn out female, i just figure i could use the experience.

I have three currently growing, 1 is around 4 inches(been groing for 5 days)
the 2nd and 3rd are 2 inches. (been groing for 3-4 days)

I only have 2 lights going right now, and they are just lamps.

So heres my questions.

how long does it take from start to finish? (avarage time)

How do i maxamize yield and potency? (please explain in lamen terms cause i have no clue about any of this really)

What is Vegitative/flowering stage, and how long should i do each?

I know if i can get this to work the weed prolly wont be too good, but i just want the experience and hopefully can get the hang of it.

Thats it i appreciate any and all help.

First, don't tell the people you are addressing not to post. Second, no-one can possibly answer all that. It would take pages to even scratch the surface. At the top of each page is FAQ. Read there and then come to the forums prepared to ask specific questions. The forums are to fine tune not to start from scratch. By the way, I don't think you are stupid, just lazy.

If you have read a bunch of grow guides, and none of them make sense, what makes you think any guidance given to you here will sink in?

There are lots of variables so your questions cant really be answered with much accuracy.

Seed to Smoke 8/9 months
1 month seed
2 months veg --the plant grows stems and leaves and gets big
3/4 months flower --the plant grows flowers and gets bigger
1 week harvest dry
1 month cure

Maximum yeild, FIM and LST, lots of light, time
Maximum potency, female plants, good water, good nutes, time

You will need to read, and re read, and re re read those growing guides to fill in the blanks. Growing will be the best teacher, but read and read and read.

Heres a hint, 99% of all the questions you will have between now and flowering time have already been asked and answered in this forum. Check the stickies as well and watch youtube videos.

Put the pot pipe down for a minute and focus on what your doing. You need to do research and It will come together like a puzzle. Growing pot is not that hard after you know where the pieces go. Good luck

You cant grow with 2 normal lamps. Period. Buy better lights, hd or cfl. Good soil. Water when dry. 18-24 hours of light in vegitation for first month or so. 12 in flowering for 9-14 weeks. Nutes when needed. Check out the Faqs. Done.

bad attitude. I have 2+ ozs of some amazing stuff per plant on my first grow. All you need to do is learn...

if you're just getting started, small is your friend(usually)
which means a smaller plant is easier to deal with than a larger one, especially with small lighting
so you may want to start flowering now, that's the 12 hour dark - 12 hour light cycle
from bagseed you don't know what you'll get, so now need to get too ambitious
if you can get one of your little babes to start flowering, you'll be hooked good

Why can't you comprehend what they are saying? Is it because you are stoned out of your mind?

Experience is 90% of it.

Lamps (incandescent bulbs) are useless. No point.

The grow guides are already in layman terms, so if you don't understand them, how are you going to understand us?

Learning how to grow is like taking an exam. First you do all the studying, then you put it into practice. If you can't do that, then growing weed isn't for you.

Also, I'm going to go out on a limb here and state the following:
I think you are too young to be here. Too young to be smoking weed. Stop smoking, get your ass back to school and educate yourself or you will end up as just another bum.
You can always smoke when you graduate high school, it isn't going anywhere.

These kids are ruining their lives with this weed. Wait till you are older!

Cannabis is like your common weed. It will grow under the most harsh conditions. Google son.

gonna have to disagree with you on this one....

In order to grow "good" weed and a "good" amount you need "good" conditions.

Oh you're absolutely right. Regardless, the sheer living potential (not the quality) of cannabis is great. It can take a lot before dying. Check out SeeMoreBuds 2nd video. That first grow he talks about and shows is insanely neglected, but since the plants got watered consistently they still lived even through the worst spider mite damage I have ever seen.

Now the quality depends on good conditions and care. But, they grow like weeds.

true true. as long as you have proper conditions they do grow like weeds.

For one u need light,lumens needed and for everything else what.U have read what book or got info from where,if u got some info that each strain is going to yield diff and the way u grow can effect yield ect ect ect,and i veg for 60 days but every body is diff bro get a book any that mel frank wrote and read it is for the average person!! I read a book by mel frank when i was 13-14 and have been growin and learnin every grow u to will learn to read ur plants after a few years i just realized i have been growin weed for 20 years and have been great at it for 18 at least.learn what plants need and go from there!!good luck!!
