I have questions about using ROCKWOOL!

Well unlucky you can cut corners if it works for you, but i plan ahead and look to take all factors into acount

that is basicly the instructions for using A-OK starter plugs. rinsing is more of an issue for bigger blocks.
You can also skip flushing if you run drain to waste setups, you just don't want a blocks worth of lime flowing back into your res.
 
I dip my starter cubes into a clonex soloution of 1 tbsp/quart and let excess run off.germ seed in a wet papertowel and stick the tail into starter cube facing down.Then its a waiting game.
