I am leaving on vacation for 3 days and I have a soil grow and plants are still seedlings how can I water them if im not here is there a DIY homemade irrigation for soil that I can try please help I dont know what to do.
I have to leave for 3 days how can I water?

yeah.. just get something that can hold a lot of water, and some tubing and some pumps and a timer, and set the pumps and hose so that they pump the water to your plants... set the timer so that the right amount of water pumps to the plant before your timer goes off... make sure you get this all worked out before you go on vacation, and you should be fine.. otherwise, you maybe coming home to a major flood.....

go to walmart and get a 24 hour timer, a mop bucket, a 6 or 8 foot extension cord, some bamboo skewers and bread ties go to the pet store and get a small, cheap, SUBMERSIBLE aquarium pump and 20-25 feet of tubing that fits the pump outlet, walmart may have all that too, check around.
set your timer to the watering schedule you want, plug it into the wall
plug the extension cord into it
plug the pump into the extension cord
hookup the tubing to the pump outlet
fill the bucket with water
put the pump into the bucket
trim the tubing to length
put the tubing where you want it in the planter
push a few skewers into the soil next to the tubing
secure it all with bread ties
watch it to make sure you have the timer set correctly
clear as mud?

transplant them to a larger pot, there is no need to water a seedling every three days in soil.

i found some things at longs ( now CVS ) it's like a gel but as the dirt get dry it turns into water and they work PERFECT i used them last year when i went on vacation for a week

i also just remembered this technique; put the pots on a plastic tray with a quarter inch or less water on it and put the pots on the tray
siple and easy
but ill bet your plants are fine without water for 3 days

i could be gone 3-7 days and I have a water pump for a fountain but it pumps with alot of pressure it is small but has alot of power. I also have a a timer but it is in 15 min intervals so If i had something to kill the water pressure and make it a slow drip instead of all that pressure I could set it to drip 15 min 1 time a day is there something I can buy to make this work thanks.

seedlings.... okay. water the soil and then cover around the plant with a bit of newspaper. Couple of layers. Cut a nice circle with some scissors and make a slit to the center of the paper disc. then wet the paper, and u are good to go.

yah, a newspaper will definitely set you back 50 cents.
