I Have To Leave Town In The Middle Of Cureing ?

I harvested some lemon skunk 8 days ago hung to dry for 4 days then into jars been leaving them open for 2 hrs every 24hrs (also have good air circulation around jars) problem is I have to go out of town for 4 days, will my jarred bud mold or will they be ok if i leave the lids off or i was thinking of dumping them in a paper bag and re jaring when i return or will they be ok sealed up in a jar for 4 days ?

that sucks you should drop them off with me ill burp them for you at no charge , lol can you give them to a trusted friend? my first thought was also a paper bag but i dont know cause if they get too dryed out its all over my last harvest i let them dry too long and there was no smell too my bud at all and harsh smoke

I have no frinds that know i grow (Thats how people get busted IMO) Im not really concerned with harsh smoke as I started vapeing everything a few months ago, but I would like some bud with that dank smell, my last crop i dried to much and no dank smell it still gets you high but i was hopeing for a better cure this go around.

if they get to dry can wrap in tortilla shells and they will put some kick back in them. may think im odd but i have a friend who has done it a few times

just continue your cure process until the day you leave, If the dank smell comes back your fine to leave them in the jars with the lids just cracked, not completely closed though.

How wet is it? I would put them in a brown bag/freezer like shredder mentions......Harsh smoke beats mold risk anyday!

I Like the Tortilla shell idea...sounds like a good idea for supper ! I was thinking of sealing the jars and then putting in the freezer, wont that stop the possibility of mold and keep all the moisture sealed in? then i can just take them out of the freezer and continue cureing them.
I also thought about leaving the jars all cracked but im afraid they will dry too fast!

we had a change of plans now we will be gone for 4 days home for 2 then gone again for 8 days I think maybe i should just leave my buds in the jar with the lids open just a crack, i will probably end up with over dry buds but hopefully no mold, any thoughts on this ??

leave the jar open with the lid just sitting on the jar, ive been in the same situation and it will be fine, wont overdry especially if its still pretty moist. u may come back and it still will be moist then just leave the lid off until dry and rotate the flowers around in the jar so they all dry
