Your right with large pieces all you can do is slowly evenly heat it all,But i think that"s what rollers are for???to spin it in the heat quickly without deformation but i could be wrong 65$ on sundance.

But that is what rollers are for,heating large pieces quickly so deformation does not happen,i can see not using one on a pipe,but lamps,bongs and anything like that you will see it helps alot,i know cause i used to work in a small shop,when we made big boys like 3 footers,it was not easy holding a heavy ass bong for hours with no support,but to each his ownyou all need to stop. i know what i'm doing, i'm just not doing it well. i need a little practice. thanks though.

that's not a bubble it's a solid blob that needs color added, then it's gonna be blown out into a pipe. it's about 3 inches of a 32mm piece of solid rod. you add color to the center then attach it to the end of a blow tube then blow it out into a bubble, putting all the color on the inside. then you reduce the bubble down to a tube. then you shape the tube into a pipe.read the first line of post #815,looked like you were starting a vase or bong or something as you had a grape fruit sized bubble,my bad for trying to help out,like you said you know what your doing
