Let's debunk that
A social media claim is wrongly saying that sunglasses are harmful.
www.thejournal.ie
"The reviewer, Professor Gillian R Bentley of Durham University,
does not reference the sunglasses claim,". Then wth is she even talking about lol? Funny article.. How can you debunk something you don't even reference?
Then, it goes on to say your brows and the way your face was designed already blocks the high sun UVs, which makes me feel even better about not wearing them, lol.
Then, get this.. in the article they tell you its more important to wear your shades in the morning and in the evening, which is ironically when you get the best benefits from the UVs (and other wavelengths that can't be explained by science) entering your eyes, like this:
Even without gazing directly into the sun, you still get many of the above benefits from the indirect light during mid day, unless of course your wearing polarized or photo-chromatic lenses over your eyes most the day. Who really wants to block having superhuman abilities? I'm not giving up mine!
Besides.. How can anyone say sunglasses don't cause cancer, when the prop 65 labels on most pairs clearly state that they can?
