I belive that is called "fading".

The crackling means its not cured properly and has nothing to do with leaching the soil.

NO! Their NOT!
This such a misconception!
Green start to finish!

Flowers only yellow and die when they have gone beyond the point we harvest our plant at!
Same for ANY annual plant!

If your plant is yellowing up and dying off. You feed it wrong!

This is a plant at EXACTLY 60 DAYS! NO yellow here! BTW - ORGANIC water only..

NONE, NADA, ZIP! Other then dropping some fans that are starter leaves... This is where you should be! DON'T OVER FEED!

I agree.

One exception. Certain strains will turn fall colors. Purple, red, brown, yellow, etc. It will be genetic and even though the leaves are yellow they will be healthy and soft to the touch.

That's the exception tongue rule and easy to tell the difference.

Cooler temps can bring those colors out.

I agree with you. My statement only applies to a few strains. Just saying not all yellow means death or is bad.

This is an auto and autos sometimes tend to yellow and turn colors when they are ripe.

Is what he said but we all know what he means
I never said anything about flowers yellowing... leaves my friend as is exactly what Is occurring in your pic.
Nobody is telling you that you have to do anything with your plants, But those of us that have tried it know that flushing is a joke and kills your yields.

I feel like all flushing does is make the bud turn a different color, but I don't knw, I never flush, I'm too lazy for it, maybe I will give it a try

My pic?

That's not from flushing. That's an organic water only grow. Same strain as the first pic I posted of the green bud.

Different pheno. It was taller and turned different colors.

There is yellow that is genetic like purple plants and yellow from starving.

If you are not feeding and they yellow then they will not put on as much weight.

So why does a maple tree "fade" in the Fall? Not from flushing or leaching. Temps. My leaves look great ...even beautiful in the end. Yours should too.
Three factors influence autumn leaf color-leaf pigments, length of night, and weather, but not quite in the way we think. The timing of color change and leaf fall are primarily regulated by the calendar, that is, the increasing length of night. None of the other environmental influences-temperature, rainfall, food supply, and so on-are as unvarying as the steadily increasing length of night during autumn. As days grow shorter, and nights grow longer and cooler, biochemical processes in the leaf begin to paint the landscape with Nature's autumn palette.

You actually cannot Leach a Hydro grow..the medium doesnt hold salts. Unless you talking about the lines and thats done after harvest.
It wont ever end man, people are dumb and have a hard time letting go of shit they were told by "master" growers . Jorge cervantes is one of the biggest pushers of "flushing" there is and I think he is about a dip shit. He was just a face for hightimes to push product's or "his" book full of mostly shitty info . Abso-fucking-lutely wrong! That pic was taken under HPS with the flash on. If you think you see any yellowing leaves! It's where the flash didn't fill in. EVERYTHING IS GREEN!

Same for the lower part of the plant! If it looks yellow - the flash didn't fill in!

All green! Every bit!

I see high K and a bit of high P in that.......Bet only a select few others did too........STILL, I Get your point!

You mean something like this?
platinum-pink-banana-og.jpg
@meangreengrowinmachine The same lighting issue applies here! Except if it ain't black, the flash didn't fill in!

No yellow on the plant...Not a cooler night temp reaction either! I finally am getting my hands on Blue Magoo! That's another that will express color with out the help of K or lower night temps!
