i know this is kind of ghetto but will crushed up multivitamins work as fertilizer?

And if not will they at least have some positive influence on the plants growth?

They would probably work for trace minerals but I doubt they would have any NPK values to speak of.

So in short, no I don't think multivitamins alone are enough to sustain a healthy plant.

The reason is that vitamins aren't loaded with NPK that plants need to survive.

It could kill your plants with a toxic amount of iron or some other element not designed for plants.

vitamins iz vitamins. i promise it wont kill nuthin

if your stuck for fertilisers and your vegging you can use your own piss at a 10-1 ratio 10parts water 1 part pee, it's organic and safe and i know lots of people will say it's a horrible thing to do but the plants love it it's free and it works like a charm, this maybe unheard of to you? but just incase it is i can assure you that it's been being done for hundreds of years and is a proven source of nutrients, i've used it myself and wouldn't hesitate to do so again. just a thought mate incase you are in the position of needing an alternative, piece of piss as they say lol
