I like my bong better than my vape, am I nuts?

I bought a vape for right around $100 a few weeks back and I have to say, I am not all that impressed. It is one of the plastic box types with an LCD display for the temp on the front. I load the whip up, put it on, set the temp to 366, give it about 3 or 4 min and then take a hit. I end up getting high but it generally takes longer, uses more bud and kinda creeps on as opposed it coming pretty quickly after smoking.

Another thing I notice is it takes a lot more bud to vape for the same effect with the bong. My vape almost always turns the left over bud black near the part where the hot air comes from.

Am I using it wrong or is this normal?

I would try a Volcano or a Silver Surfer Vape if you want one of the best. My friend also bought a hotbox and im not that impressed either, but vapeing is just a different high.

Volcanos are the shitttt just make sure u dont turn the temp to high maybe to like 7 and u willl be goooood.

I'm with you I enjoy the smoke and miss the taste, my vape sits unused like a museum piece but I do break it out if my throat is sore from too much smoking

i hate those electrical vapos, i use a homemade vapo that you have to heat yourself-or i just use my good old wooden pipe.

but there is no other more clear and stronger high that a GOOD vaporizer yeah i agree a shitty 100 dlr piece of shit is a waste of money but mine was 200 and its a hand held and i toke it around 400 degrees and you fill a whole bag off a cylinder that is the size of a nickle and about 1/4 to 1/2 inch deep and it is totaly worth it and if its good widow or somethin i smoke it after its done in the vap, and still gets you high it turns my bud brown never black so buy a good one it saves money and is a really good high

I'm with you. I bought one of those hundred dollar models and I'm not impressed at all. Even when I smoke hash out of it. Much rather smoke out of my bong.

Guess I just need a more expensive vape.
