i love growing but it has to stop

I love my own weed, i love being part of this community and the best part is smoking skunk that blows my head off and doesn't have a metalic taste.

The problem is that i don't seem to be able to control the smell and live in a very nice nieghbourhood, this problem is putting my future growing plans to the wall. I cant risk getting caught.

I have a cardon filter that for all i know is filled with more skunk, because the only smell that comes out of the exhaust is thick, damp, dirty skunk.

I recently started exhausting outside, well fuck me instead of just the upstairs of the house smelling the whole of the outside of the house stunk.

I am at a loss, this current crop that i am growing could probably do with another week but i cant risk it, it's coming down tomorrow and wether i do another grow i down to what people suggest.

The best part is that the guy i bought the cuttings off said this was low odour, he must be pissing his pants with laughter. I grew 5 white widow from seed last time and it was nothing in comparison.

dont stop growing!!!

one less grower makes me sad :( the world needs to be growing in growers, not deminishing....though i do understand not wanting to get fucked over by the long dick of the law...good luck with your decision, but as your cutting down your children, just be thinking about all the hard work you put into it, all hours, all the money, the detication. i believe 99% of growers share the same passion as i do in growing the strongest pot the world has ever seen!! I mean thats most of our goals is it not??? If not that then the best tasking bud the world has ever tasted...so just keep all this in mind while your commiting murder tomarrow....i will shed a tear tomarrow thinking of you killing them beautiful plants...............

Cheers for your concern about the children but it is still going to be a beutifull smoke, i just personnaly would have give it another 5-7 days given the option. As for growing the best skunk the world had ever seen, i think i have been close, lol.

As for the new filter comment, i think it is only 4 month old.

Started thinking about a ozone generator. My god though, they arn't keep for a good one.

i have your perfect answer, a negative ion generator will eradicate the tiny smelly weed particles , look up ioniser or neg ion generator on google, they vary alot in price but its defo worth the money, i knew someone that was cropping off half a kilo a week in this tiny english villiage and he never got caught out by smell

Odor control is best when several items are used at once. Here is how I role:

My 450 CFM exhaust fan is attached to a 650 CFM carbon filter. That filtered air travels through 20 feet of 6 inch dryer hose and leads to a 200 cubic foot box in the attic. In that box the air is treated again with ozone and ONA to cover up any smell the carbon filter couldn't take care of. Right before the air leaves that box, it's filtered through a screen a mothballs before the air travels through the final 8 feet of hose and is released to the outside world.

Carbon filters do a good job but they do not remove 100% of odors. Any odor is too much which is why several odor killers need to be implemented.

Well 1st if you grew White Widow it wasn't the real "White Widow" :-P

But if you really wanted to keep growing your could build a little 4x4 room. Exhaust into there with your Carbon Filter.
Then get a another exhaust fan and carbon filter and exhaust that 4x4 room outside. :-D

Cost ya like 500$ but better than having to buy your own weed.

Get a negative Ion/Ozone Generator in the 4x4 room too.
Google Ona Gel they got a couple product you could get also.

well it said white widow on the tin and looked like white widow when i grew the bitch, i think that i will have to try moth balls and the ona gel and see if that make a differnce

I built an ozone generator, from a microwave transformer and 2 stainless steel pieces of mesh divided by glass. (be realy carefull coz it will kill ya if ya touch it!!!!!) It worked ok, but was a bit scary, lol

That is pretty poor, 10 minuets to try and interpret that one word in a otherwise perfectly word'd sentence. U need to lay off the stuff.

Hi mate just read the hole thread...

Here is an idea i came up with to help with the smell. Go buy some ONA blocks and put them in the ducting that exhausts to the outside of the property your in. It works for me for sure. All i can smell is fresh linen. And im growing 24 lady's pics below. The smell in the room is intense, but no smell out side......

try a one plant feminized seed grow of a low odor strain. Dutch Passion Brainstorm could produce a good bit off one well taken care of plant. It is not smelly at all. Even if you rub the frosty leaves...it's a bit lemony/pledge smelling...definately "citrus-y" I'm 30 days into flower. It's a good plant all around. Strong grower...takes a bit of abuse. I also have a DNA lemon skunk going. She's on her 40th day of flower. VERY low odor. Strong lemon pledge smell when you rub a leaf. Bit more of a princess to grow though. She's been having one issue after another...all mild...but still. The yield will be ok on her. But man o man am I looking forward to trying some! :)

Aww man, we can deal with smell. It's heat that is usually the big problem. Like others have said, get a couple ONA blocks and place them throughout the ducting and grow area. You only need 2 or 3. Also, It's possible the carbon in your filter needs to be reactivated again; or you can follow one of the various DIY carbon filters on here using activated carbon pellets. No need to stop growing man, let's solve this problem together.
