I made a choice...a very tough one.

You should not allow yourself to be controlled by anyone except yourself for starters. Half the world's population is female, so any of "it" is replaceable, regardless of what hormones say at the moment. Having been in the bush a few times, I feel qualified to say that once they start to "mold" you to what they want, the end is near...not being overly negative, just expressing my experience. It really does snowball quickly from all that I have seen until they have something over you that you are stuck with (like kids). Remember that your feelings will change over time, both of you. If you have to do a bunch of changing to keep her around, then you might want to evaluate what you will have in 5 years. Look closely at her mom...seriously, she will be that in the future. Just trying to help you out bro! I would not give anything that I enjoy up until I had been with a woman for a year or two. This way you know that you are compatible. Under a year is just hormones talking.

Coming to a forum, any forum, is not the way to make this decision. Only you know what this woman means to you. Only you can decide if it's worth it or not.

I dated a girl once that said she wouldn't date me if I kept smoking. She had a 3 year old son and didn't want drugs of any kind around her son. I respected that about her. She was pretty fierce about defending her son. I decided to quit smoking until her and I broke up. We got married. The three year old is now my 26 year old son. My relationship with him was totally worth quitting pot. Her, not so much. We're divorced.

Right on...Im not arguing with everyones opinions...i just dont see how im a pussy or im weak for trying to get this straightened out. The only reason i really posted this on the forum is because from what ive seen...a lot of people on this forum seem to be level headed(in a sense of knowledge). Plus since im only 18....first piece of ass...pretty sure a lot of guys have had the same problems dealing with this issue. Thanks to everyone for posting again..im taking it all in. shes staying the night here tonight and i plan on talking with her about it and maybe surprising her with a qp? eh, shed prob storm off...but wtf right? the sad thing is......, your completely right, part of me wants to tell him to really try and make it work cuz its his first love and the first is always so crazy, (i dont mean to be negative) but yeah, op in 5 years you will think back on it and you will think how naive you were to think she was your one true love and you were meant to be together always, im torn up on this topic like i said though, i dont want to mash your dreams and hopes up......its not unheard of to marry your highschool sweetheart and stay together till one dies.
