But hmm computer repair, I dunno about that I would get to frustrated probably, I mean whenever I had to build my own pc, of course that only took like a day but it was the most frustrating thing ever! But glass blowing, thats a good idea! I really could get into that honestly!

Sounds pretty nice! Wood pipe always burn though weird for some reason. Do you know any way to sand out the bowl and make it so you don't smoke the wood with it?

I already play guitar, I just am not really comfortable with playing, I have some weird thing where I don't like to play in front of people for some reason, I get all hot, and sweaty, and blush up, and just fuck around making an ass of myself forgetting how to play every single song I have ever learned, and forgetting every song that has ever been made.. I still play it a lot though lol its the only hobby I really have and its getting boring, so I bought a violin, a mandolin, and a really nice pedal and a loop station! This should keep me busy for awhile

What kind of electronics projects do you do? I agree that this can take up much time and I also find it very fulfilling. I have recently expanded my electronics projects to include writing code. It's cool to make little gadgets but its even cooler to make gadgets that can make decisions. I've often considered trying to make one of those battle bots you see on tv that fight each other. But I would like to do one that is not remote control. I would like to create one that will make its own battle decisions. This of course would take many hours of code writing.

Super intelligent battle bots? We are doomed people. Doomed.

Investing is one of my hobbies, done ok at it so far too. I also like to go Fly remote control helicopters....

Some hobbies of mine: Landboarding (going across fields or beaches on a "skateboard" with large wheels, being pulled along by a power kite), Kitesurfing (only do it in the summer), Mountain biking, Weightlifting and fishing (great for lazy days with a load of beer, lots of steak for a bbq and weed )

The problem with hobbies is this. If it's simple to start up it will be a simple hobby. If you really want to do something with your time that has lasting value then you will need to apply your self a bit more. The up side to this is that you will get MUCH more out of a hobby if you put much more into it.

Here are some excellent places to start:

Photography club.

Papers often advertise photography contest and there are often clubs that meet each week. You may feel out of place at first but once you warm up to every one and get your new passion off the ground you will find it takes up a lot of your free time and it's fun.

Genealogy is VERY addictive
You can get so caught up in this hobby that life may take a back seat.
If you wish to try it out I suggest you talk to some Mormons. They are very knowledgeable in this and will get you started in a few days. Don't worry you don't have to join their church.
They will even put together a book for you of your family heritage. VERY COOL and it's free!

Plan your summer road trip. Go to Salt Lake City Utah and you can visit the Genealogy center down there.

If you want to send someone to a genealogy site, don't send them to the Mormons. Places like anestry.com will be more useful.

Everyone's different. I like hobbies that deal in survival (gardening, hunting) and money making (investing, reselling).

But you said you like to read and draw? Maybe you would like to publish a zine (a hard copy zine not an internet blog/zine). It's time consuming, you can be creative with it, get things off your chest - and if it really takes off maybe you can get a few advertising dollars. B&W copies are cheap and music stores, comic book shops, book stores, head shops, all love distributing for free for ya.

Actually I mentioned the Mormons because they are so good at getting you started. As I said before the Mormons themselves will put together an actual three ring binder of your family history for free! It's a time consuming job and very will done. It gets you excited and it is very interesting. Every one I talk to that had the Mormons do genealogy work for them were very pleased.
