I need Expert Advice

Hi Expert Growers--and I say that respectively because I know that there are many on this forum and this is where I lurk, sometimes for hours, trying to soak up some advice. However, I need your advice. I am pretty much a beginner at growing but have had a couple of successful outdoor grows in years past and there were years that it had been a dismal failure. So if you will please take a look at these pics because I think that by this time if of year--they should be bigger and healthier looking. My plants are puny and the bottom leaves are yellowing. I'm so bummed because I was so hopeful, but here it is mid August practically and they look like they should have looked a month ago--So please take a look and anyone please offer some advice. There are three plants in all. The two together are the ones causing me much distress. The one that is standing alone had one next to it but showed sex--grew balls, so I yanked it. And that is another reason I am wondering about these plants because the one matured enough to show sex and I've been checking these three out every day and they still look like girls to me--but something just doesn't seem right--so, yes, any advice, opinions, comments, would be very appreciated and thank you!!outdoor_1 002.jpgoutdoor_1 004.jpgoutdoor_1 001.jpgoutdoor_1 003.jpg

Your plants look ok. They look like thy may need a litle ferts from your pics. How often have you been feeding them? Are they bag seed? When did you put them in the ground?Bottom leaves are nothing to worry about. They usually turn yellow and falloff. Maybe next year you could top and do a little LST. Did you prepare your holes or just plant them in the ground. From my experience...you get out what you put in... So the more you do to prepare, they better off your harvest will be.

older leaves do yellow and die off. But, yellowing from the bottom up is a nitrogen defficiency.. maybe try to add a little extra N on your next feeding or untill it corrected.

Add alot of N and get those weak bottom branches tough. The plants look great! They will look real good in about 3 days if you give those ladies a heavy feeding of N, P, and K. As to my guess is they also want a little P to help the flowering game play out.

Feed them and they will feed you. Do not be scared you have lots of time for a flush if you mess up, just try not to mess up and feed too much.lol Good luck bud and good thinking about callling out the experts.lol

BTW If those were my plants I would give a touch more nutes then the bottle calls for.... Marijuana is a high energy plant.

id say give them some nitrogen like others have said. be careful not to overdo it though. less is more!

how much sun do they get? how many hours of direct sunlight, and how many hours of shaded light? i think they just dont get much light, so they havent grown much. otherwise, they look real healthy

All you all rock!!!! Thank you so much for the wonderful advice--to be honest, I have always let nature takes it course. I put the seeds in the ground around mid May to the end of May and did a lot of praying. Unfortunately they are in an area that, and Luger, I think you are right on, they just aren't getting enough light, and I never was one to add a lot of nutrients because I figured the Great Mother would take care of it, but I'm sure you are all right, I need to add some stuff at this point and I'm on it because you all, hic, don & pickle, were kind enough to share your knowledge and I thank you so much for the good advice. xoxoxoxoxoxoxoxox--yeah, I am giving you all hugs and kisses so what if my name is Karl ;)
