First time grower: Plants about 4-5 weeks now. Transplanted last weekend into a 12 in. pot (Miracle grow) haha heard good and bad. Was doing good sprouted the top to Nodes i believe, than the very first and second sets of nodes each had a leave turn yellow and than shirvel up :(. have some pics too.

Been keeping it outside in sunlight (about 85 degrees average) from 9 am pac. to 6 pm pac. watering it onlyy when about 4in. down in the soil is dry. But ive also been putting it back in my closet after the 6pm under a 100 watt reg. bulb(wondering if this could be?) untill about 6 am pac.

well, I am probably wrong but here are my thoughts:
N deficiency -- I know you are using miracle grow so this is unlikely, but if you look here http://www.icmag.com/ic/showthread.php?t=11688 you can see why I'd think so.
It is really probably something is wrong with your PH and your plant can't uptake N correctly, I think 6.5 is a good ph for soil.

If no one else replies, then I would test the PH first. If the PH is too high or low I would try to adjust it. Since you are using miracle grow I would not add any other fertilizer.

To test your PH, water your plant well and test the PH of the runoff.

I don't think you are doing anything wrong with the watering schedule though. Looks like the plant is getting the right amount of moisture.

Good luck.

I don't know much about outdoor growing but I think full sun is too much for seedlings... and at 5 weeks they should be a WHOLE LOT BIGGER (look at my grows for ref).
I have no idea what is going on... sorry
