I will, when I feel there ready.I don't have a lot of plants, so I need to bush them out more , So I have no wasted light shinning on the floor.
oh i get it, so when you burn at 300 no light hits the floor. uhhh wait.... you might want to double check thatI will, when I feel there ready.I don't have a lot of plants, so I need to bush them out more , So I have no wasted light shinning on the floor.
In veg I would rather have 300w then 600w wasted on the floor, and just talking about veg. It's my grow, that's just how I feel.jmooh i get it, so when you burn at 300 no light hits the floor. uhhh wait.... you might want to double check that
I'm not trying to tell you what to do man, you grow how you grow. I'm a firm believer in if it aint broke don't fix it. I'm glad your set up works for you. I just had a simple problem with a digi ballast that turned out to be more of a hassle than i care to deal with. therefore i'm against digi's, and that's jmo. You'll hear guys on here that hate mag ballasts for one reason or another. I like em because if a fuse blows out, you can replace it yourself, you don't have to send it back to the manufacturer and wait on a new one. And they just don't break man so that is a ok in my book. If I had a 250w I would use that.
Sucks to here about your experiences with a digi.I've only had my digi for 2 months, but love it.I Got 4 mags my self, and one db for now.I'm not trying to tell you what to do man, you grow how you grow. Yeah i had my lumateks for over a year before i ran into trouble. I heard only good things before i purchased them, then after the fuse blew i started hearing about all the other gardeners out there having the same problem. Even the lumatek rep that i talked to told me it's a common problem and it's standard procedure for them to have ballasts sent back on the daily. I hope nothing goes wrong with yours bro.Sucks to here about your experiences with a digi.I've only had my digi for 2 months, but love it.I Got 4 mags my self, and one db for now.
I can't hate on them, they both got there ups and downs, I do like the faceted I can fix, or build a magnetic ballast my self though.
.
yes, they are a decent ballast and run alot cooler than magnetic..magnetic ballasts are old technology and get hot enough to cook a steak on..i have used ipower 600w dig ballasts with ipower bulbs for 2 yrs now and have never had any issues wih ballasts or bulbs, they run cool and cheap-2 ipower ballasts running 18-6 costs right around $110 a month with 2 6in ipower exhaust fans and 2 12in oscillating fans..the hydrofarm magnetics i had costs $180 month to run with same fans/exhaust vents/fans and i can buy 2 ipower ballasts for the price of one mag hydrofarm..there is a benefit of running digital ballasts, they have a bigger brain than some of the burnt out souls on this page lol..Has anyone ever used hypotek ballasts? Im thinking of getting 2 600w kits but i dont wanna get it if they suck
