I need help on this quick everyone please!!

ok i went away for the weeknd and left my house mate to keep an eye on my babys the light was on a timer n there fed hydro so topped everything up n just asked him to keep an eye on them n ring me if he had any probs....well now its monday n i am home n have discoverd the lights have been off since FRIDAY!!! what shall i do n how will this effect my crop they were on 20h on 4 h off cycle before. please help me with this ppl i dont wanna ruin an otherwise great crop!!

If the lights are on now, and the plant looks OK, then FORGETABOUTIT.

IT'S A WEED. IT WILL GROW WHETHER YOU WANT IT TO OR NOT!

If the plants are at a good size for flowering just switch them to 12/12, some plants flower better with 48hr darkness prior to flowering.

Just continue vegging if they aren't ready to be forced. They'll take a couple of weeks to recover and start vegging again, but it'll be fine.

I panicking bad thats all its my 1st grow n i have done everything by the book n they are coming along better than expected n now this doughnuts thrown a spanner in the works!! will it not effect the bud quality or quantity i get from it?

As reelflies says you could just leave them to veg and they will recover in a few weeks but i would personally just 12/12 if they are a good size. what height are they at?

the plants are about 1ft tall at the the mo n very busshy but i was hoping to get them to around 2.5ft before going 12/12 so if i just put them at 18/6 they will just be ko back a couple of weeks with no effect on the size of the crop? thanks for the help guys i am just soooo frustrated that i left sum1 in charge that dosent appreciate the plants!! as u can imagine i have put a few blue words his way so its time for me to roll it up n try n chill. thanks guys your a great help i would b lost with out this site n its members thanks again.

put it back to its normal schedule. It should be fine. Maybe slow down growth until it fixes itself again, but if the plants are still green and standing just go back to what you were doing.

I always flower at 1ft anyway with plants ending up round about 3ft which in my experience is the best height for maximum yeild. much taller than that you will get pop corn nuggs as light doesnt reach lower branches properly! keeping them nice and short ensures the light hits the whole plant resulting in nice big donkey dick buds!!

I had something similar happen, I went back to 18/6 and they did not respond so well, then I let the lights on 24/7 and they spung right back to life.. PEACE

At one point about 3 months ago when I first started growing I germed too many seeds for the number of cfls that I had. As a result I had one plant that got almost no light for about 3 weeks. The baby leaves fell off and there was no green whatsoever and I thought the plant was dead. Then I bought another cfl (and lamp to hold it) and the plant grew like a motherfucker. It split as though it had been topped (two stems), but 3 more weeks later both of its stems stood 12 inches tall. Unfortunately, the plant turned out to be male, and the stress of no light could have contributed to this outcome. The point being that the damage was done. I would not think that this is the case with yours after only 3 days but maybe it would be wise to move to 12/12, I don't know. Good luck.

Donkey dick buds i love that saying haha. Ok i have had a big j-bo and feel alot more chilled and relaxed about the situation now and thats thanks to all u guys above (and the great crop of bhudda cheese i have got my hands on haha) I am still looking at my roomy like the at the min but its not his fault his a dummie just no not to leave him in charge ever ever again!! haha
so i am gonna go back 2 24h light for a few weeks let them get back to full health n then switch it 2 12/12 i have taken on bored keeping them short as well as this was my origanal goal and the donkey dick saying sold it for me haha. The plants havent wilted or look affected at all so fingers crossed everything is ok if not.....my house mate is looking for a new room. haha jokeing his a doughnut but was a genuine mistake.
Thanks every1 i truly owe u 1 if i didnt have this site i would prob in cuffs now for strangling my house mate. haha.

gd luck with the grow m8, am sure things will turn out fine. how lucky 2 have the cheese!!! just ran out of it a few weeks ago now on to some ak 47 which is still nice but every1 loves the cheese haha!
