i need help with indoor grow...

ok so rite now i have about 20 and ther in a closet about 3 ft wide and 9 ft long i have 2 flourescent light fixtures i got at walmart so 4 tubes on 20 plants plants are in 4inch pots in walmart miricle growm ok so the plants are about three months old and the tallest is a bit more than 3 ft and smallest in about a ft (only like 1 is that small) i started floweringabout 5 days ago im having a problem tho wile the light is on the plants do ok but after i have the plants with no light for 12 hours there all droopy and after it happens i water theplats and give them like an hour extra light and they look alot better a few hours later but why?


OK 1 thing.... i know im a noob this is my first grow i have some cash to invest i want to be like all of you guys on here i know shit about ph up down nutrients what the plant need none of that all i know is what got me to where i am and i know as of rite now my setup is shit but the plants look really descent i had alot of leaves die and shit but w.e
ne ways i need some tips what do i do? and take it easy on the rude comments i know ima noob rite now lol thx.

Well man....i would invest in an HPS set up asap....the floros will not cut it.....You will get ur money back in nugs no problem....If you don't invest in HPS lighting first and foremost...you will be disappointed in quality and yield....Then.... adequate ventilation(can fans) to cool lights and bring fresh in and out of the area....Make sure the temp is at most 82....The best would be 78....The difference in yield between 75 and 85 is astounding....you can produce half as much if it is too hot....Your environment needs work and I think you should use better nutes but if you got healthy plants and you like miracle grow then that's cool.... U R on ur way....Good Luck

it sounds like over watering to me.that will make the leaves go droppy like you describe.give it a day or 2 without water and see if it improves,wont kill them.good advice from masonite.with that many plants with only that lighting i think you will have issues when they start flowering,
some more advice,when you switch to 12/12 dont give them extra hours of light! keep it strict 12/12 otherwise you can stress them and this delays flowering.
if you are in 5 days of 12/12 with that many plants you need to remember they will go into a 2 week stretch period where they can triple in size just before the white hairs appear

ok so i appriciate the help. im going to get a 400 watt hps its in a closet so kinda small area how do i keep it cool enough? i have 2 fans like regular fans will they do? i was going to try and find a 400w hps with an exaust fan alredy in it you know? but thx.

It might do o k with the doors open and the reg fan but in summer u r gonna need an exhaust fan....I suggest a 4'' can fan and getting a hood with ducts....You can run air through the hood and out of the grow area....This will cool the light and exhaust ur area at the same time
