i need help with my germination!!

hey guys i bought a pack of double gum, and white skunk last month . and yesterday i started the germination process.

i put it into 2 separate cups full of warm water, and i covered it and put in my cupboard. every once in a while i pour like 10 -15 ml of hot water into it, just to keep the water temperature warm....

luckily, all the seeds drowned into the water instead of floating.

now my question is, should i just let them stay under the water till the white sproute shoots up??

or do i need to pull them out and put them in the soil and than let it sproute?????

i would let them sit, took mine a couple days that way but i dnt recomend it. i would put them in damp paper towels in bags. but yea just let them sit under water till u see some sprouting

once they all sink in the glass of water, i put them in a wet paper towel folded up in a tupperware. i put a lil bit of extra water in the tupper ware so its really humid and moist in there, then i put it on my water heater thing. anywhere dark and warm. it usually takes between 1 and 3 days for them to sprout their tails. then u can plant them in soil.

you shouldnt put seeds in water, it can damage the tap root, and it doesnt increase germination percentage at all. All they need is moisture, warmth, darkness and air. I use jiffy pellets, plant seed the diameter of the seed under the surface, put in dome, wrap in garbage bag and put on cable box. If you have good seeds, every one will germinate.

yep i am with residentkush. just put them inbetween a wet paper towel fold that up put it in like a glass jar or somthing put some water in (i don't think it matters if its hot) and put the lid on and put it in a dark ass spot for like 3 or 4 days.

i usually put the seeds in a shot glass of water before i do the paper towel method. overnight they usually sink to the bottom, thats when i put them in paper towels.

Dawg i just started germination like 5 days ago day to i had 4 seed already crack
Take a paper towel set it on a plate get it wet set the seeds on the paper towel then put another paper towel over the seeds get that one wet too then seed under a light or something it may take a week like i said mine took 2 days i'm on day 5 and there 2 inches tall
