I need help

Ok first off this is my first grow. I chose to go with a DWC hydro. My nutes are general hydroponics trio, running 600 hps with unknown strand that I received as a freebie from nirvana.
For the life of me, I can't figure out what my plant needs. Either way I go I seem to get that same results. I feel that my bud growth is abnormally slow. The buds seem to be in the same stage since it started to produce buds like 4 weeks ago. My ph is good. I've gone ,quater, half and full strength on nutes. It seems like no matter what I do my plant looks sick. At first it was the "claw" that is notorious (from what I've read) for nutrient burn, I backed of from half to quater strength. Nothing, so I went up to full strength. Still, sickly. My plants leaves have always been like a neon green maybe slightly yellow. She's got tons of buds but they just aren't doing anything. From what I've read, I am thinking iron deficiency but I wanted some other opinions. I am going to attach some pics. I know that the color is going to be hard to make out do to the color of the light but I'm hoping that someone can give me some advice.
I forgot to mention, I change my water on the weekend, my roots look healthy and bountiful.

It looks like an environment problem. Usually nute problems will only be on new or old leaves, not spread out to the whole plant.

When I used the 3 part GH, I would use the per a gallon measurements for the whole 5 gallon res so it was about 1/5th strength and that usually worked for me. I also used liquid kool bloom with it when pistils started showing and that seemed to help more pistils come out and help make the buds bigger.

Your plant is drinking so fast because of the heat. It just wants water to stay alive, it's bothered about living, not about flowering!

What it really wants is for you to turn down the temps to 75-77f. Then your humidity and temps will be great.

With a 400w hps in a good environment, I'd easily out yield a 600w hps in that environment. So would you!

Ditch the 600w hps and buy a 315w lec! 8)

The Claw is usually Nitrogen toxicity rather than just nute burn but I don't see why you would have that if you ph is right on those nutes. Plus you say your leaves are lime green rather than super dark.
What is your PH and are you using RO water or tap or well, what are your temps?

I wouldn't think heat stress. I keep it under my house so it's not in a tent or even a small room. It stays comfortable down there, I would say around 75. I have an oscillating fan going so there is air movement. The light is a good 18-20" away from the plant and the plant is definitely cool to the touch at its tallest point. I will check the humidity but I didn't think that it would have that much affect on it. The last time I checked the humidity was around 70%

it's either light burned or heat stress. take a temperature at the highest canopy level and let us know the temp. is your 600w hps air cooled?

Your girls are getting burnt up man.

My light is not air cooled but it's cool to the back of my hand when I hold it up to the highest point on the plant. Lights are off for the night but I will get a temp tomorrow afternoon

I'm using plain tap water. I add my nutrients and then adjust my ph. I keep it around 6-6.5. My light stays pretty cool do to the temperature of my basement/ crawlspace/ whatever you want to call it. I will get a temp reading tomorrow. Lights are off for the night. How far would you recommend my light being from the plant? I read somewhere on here that as long as you could hold your hand under the light at the highest part of your plant for 30 seconds, you are good. Is this wrong?

Yes it's wrong. I went through this as well. I have a 600w and I found at least 18" -24". If you get an air cooled reflector, like a cool tube, you can get closer. Even with my cool tube I won't go closer than 12".

That ph is wrong for hydro too my man it needs to be around 5.8 <-------that will help too image.jpeg

Thank you. I will adjust tomorrow and see if that helps. I'm as high as I can go on my light and like I mentioned before I can hold my hand on the top of my plant without any discomfort whatsoever. I would guess my lights to be about 20" from the top of the plant. Still think it's heat/light stress? I'm pretty bummed. This is my first grow. I did my research and I felt confident, know this. I feel like all my time invested was for nothing. I have a feeling she probably won't successfully recover.

Don't give up yet. Your light is as high as it can go. Do you have a fan blowing the space just above the canopy? Like between the light and the top of the plants. That really helped with mine.
By the way, my first grow I didn't make it to harvest. I just finished my first harvest which was my second grow.

Also, we can't really tell for sure unless you take some pics with the hps off. You can flash a few pics while they're sleeping or take them just before lights on or just after lights off.

I have an oscillating fan about 10 ft away
