I need light advice

I started a new plant a week ago and its 2cm's long and ive been growing it under a 14watt=to 65 watts. I kow that wont get it big. I was wondering if i should get a 4ft shot light at walmart and hang it in my closet. Will that be able to veg it to a few feet that flower it? and is it safe to use?

and if anyone has gotten their light from there does it come with the chain? and what bulb should i get , just any 4 footer?

try getting the 26w 6500k cfls
you will get way better results

not tru.. floro tubes put out way more lumens now a days. shop light over cfl. cfls on the cheaper side of things. they both work great with the rite amount.

I agree.... Go to walmart and get a shop light the uses regular bulbs and has a large reflector. then get a couple y sockets to stick in there so you can put additional bulbs in there. Get some 42 watt full spectrum compact fluro bulbs. For one plant 3 or 4 should do, more the better. at home depot there is a big cheap fluro you can buy that is like 35 bucks and is awesome. happy growing.

dont use the floro grow tubes from wal mart spend the extra cash n go to a hydro store, on line, or sumthin.

what would be the difference. from strangers post he sounds unexperienced. so I would give him the cheaper route that is easily acquired. Both are going to get you results. for now go the cheaper route
