I need some info

Is it true that I can cut some of the leaves off to let more light in? How do I know what leaves to cut off? Can I clone them?

Ive always been told not to cut any leaves. Thats the power plant of the plant, so i never have. I only trim the dead leaves (if any)

If you remove too many of the fan leaves you risk wrecking the plant. I kept pulling off a couple leaves every day once when growing some Armageddon. After more than 50% of the leaves were gone the greenery started to turn white. Just like an albino. The product was worthless and a quarter pound of it went into the trash. Found out later that plants have organelles on the underside of leaves that make it possible for the plant to turn light energy into an energy form the plant can use. By removing too many leaves I short-circuited the photosynthesis process and doomed 4 plants. General Rule #1 -- only remove fans that are more than 50% dead.

Good luck, BigSteve.

I agree dont pull the leaves very much needed for photosynthesis thats the access point for the non-mineral nutrients found in air/water we know of as hydrogen, oxygen, carbon which in simple terms the leaves turn into starches and sugars for the plant. 16 essential plant nutrients 3 of them are mainly through the leaves you remove that then your removing nutrients then the law of the minimum kicks in which shows you how important environment is as well.

Keep them on and like bigsteve said remove only the dead leaves which are usually at the base of the plant, you have to lollypop and train early you need her to focus on flowering this late in bloom but I have cleaned up the bottoms before like removing small bud sites and leaves late in flower ,it caused a bit of a delay in the finish so now I just remove the bud sites not getting light and leave the corresponding leaf.
