i need to buy a PH meter and thinking about the "HM 200" good idea or is it crap???

I have a Hanna Combo meter (does PH, Temp, PPM, PS). A good meter is very important. I think I paid around $180 for mine. Make sure you buy calibration fluids for PH and PPM and get some electrode storage solution as well.

Ya that meter is sik but I already have a ppm meter so I'm jus lookin for ph. Hanna is more known but the HM 200 looks like quality to me, jus tryin to see what others think of the product

Jonny, how much was the total for that meter and r u in US or Can? Its not water proof is it?

Any1 else use the HM 200?

i use a milwaukee model 200..i dont know if its the same meter or not..i bought a couple of them last time..they are only like 25 bucks each on ebay..it is a must have..mine have been very dependable ..i use a blue labs PPM wand..you can get them off of ebay..for like 100 dollars and at the grow shop it was 140 dollars.i had one i bought on line that went out..no place to return it too..the last one i bought..five year warranty from the grow shop..if anything goes wrong with it ill just take it back..

my meter was $14 shipped i don't think its water proof i never put more then and inch in the water tho.but i used to do it with the liquid drop test kit and a cheep meter is way easier.

my only problem with the liquid test kit is alot of the molassas ..and things i use you cant tell what the hell the PH is by the color..and you cant test your water PH run off(extremely important)with a liquid PH test kit.i dont like the idea of a multi test meter..that does PH temp and PPM..if one of them goes out..the whole thing is DONE.
