i'm leaving the country and i'm gonna b gone about 2 wks. i have no idea wat i'm going to do about my babies when i'm gone, everything else runs on timers so thats ok but i don't know how i'm gonna keep them watered. theres nobody i would trust with watering them so thats out of the question. would they be ok without water for this long if i soak em b4 i leave? that's all i got so far. also the room is about 8' by 8' and i have 50 plants in there so there's very little room if that helps at all. and i'm going to b extremely broke until my crop comes in so ne ideas have to be in the $100 range.

Hmmm.. 50 plants.. Thats a lot. Not sure how to go about this one. Possibly some kind of hydroponic system (drip?) you can rig up to feed the plants on a timer? When are you leaving?

we have probs down here with outdoor gardens getting to dry in the summer, so we use a water based gel. its kinda like clear jello that you leave around the plants and the work for like 1 month for the big size gel. but it does leave a lil bit of a chem taste if your late into flowering. almost like unflushed hydro. but for about 3.00 a pop its better than haveing a bunch of small buds or dead plants.

that gel sounds interesting. i'm putting my into flowering the first of march and then would use the gel from the 19th till the first wk of april some time. would this b early enough in the flowering period? and also where can u get this stuff at

Drip seems alittle expensive but lets see , you could figure out how much water and fertilizer you would use in a two week period. Get you a container probally a tote or a tub something sufficient to hold your water, next run to the pet store and get a powerhead pump with a fixed nozzle not the type that sweeps back and forth should cost about $25, then you would need a short piece of 1/2 in. poly or tubing , a 100 feet of 1/4 in. tubing about $10 the misc. fittings to step down from 1/2 in. to 1/4 in. about $5 , your gonna need a timer that will allow you to turn pump on and off 1 time a day for seven days you should be able to find an intermatic timer for less than $12 . lets see thats aabout $52 depending on what you spent on a timer. Connect the 1/2 in. to the pump ,then using the appropriat fitting step it down to 1/4 in. then off the 1/4 in. use some of the little 1/4 in tee`s to branch off to each pot on the rim of each pot use a paper clip to secure the tube , then with alittle adjusting you could figure out how long you need the pump to stay on you should`nt need to run it but maybe a couple mins ounce a day.
