I need your help!!!!

ok...plants were started april 4th, that would make them 4.5 weeks young. i am going on vacation july 18th for 10 days. right now plants are 5" to 1' tall, all 16. none have been sexed, still in veg starting to show pre flowers. should i continue to veg and flower this friday at 5 weeks, or plan it to have my plants drying/curing while i am gone, or....veg way longer so i can harvest when i get back. height is really not an issue. if i did chop b4 i left i would have less yield, but i have a friend staying here who could watch them and burp them, but he has no idea what to look for as mold and too dry. damn, i almost want to veg longer and start flowering so i can come back from ny and chop myself, to dry and cure. when do you think i should flip my lights to 12/12? i want your opinions please...peace

ok guys/gals....i have 16 plants in 4" pots, dont want to transplant until i know where the males are. hate wasting good soil and nutes, these plants are not going to last in 4" pots, so what do i have to do? veg "forever"?

i'd aim for 18 inches tall. i know for sure that the shortest ones you got arent ready. do you know what strands they are? if you buy bank seeds then you may be able to get a better idea of how long the flowering will take and if it will line up with your vacation. Good luck!!

and soon after you switch the light to 12/12 you should be able to start telling wether they have white hairs forming or sacks.

yeah but what about my pots? 16 plants in 3-5 gallon pots wont fit under 1 400 hps. plus i dont want to transplant the males in bigger pots. and its also not good to transplant after flowering is induced due to lack of root growth!

thats a picture i pulled up of what the two sexes look like when they start forming their glands... Honestly, until the reproductive organs start forming, you cant really tell.

ok, well if i keep in veg long enough is it evident enough to see clearely? i am familiar with what male/female look like, just not this early.

i don't think that a 400 watt is good for 16 plants, you need more light IMO.

you can get away with little pots for a long time. these plant are 2.5 months old in 2 gallon pots.

i have see your small pots, and see that what you say is tru. but i dont want to veg forever.......when will they show? 5-6-7 weeks?

i didnt say 400 watts was good for 16 plants.....they are in veg, so lets say i get 50/50, 8/f and 8/m........out of 8 females lets say for shitz and giggles three dont make it. i still have 5. got me?....this is my second grow. on my first one which was horrible compared to this one, i had 20 seedlings and only flowered 4 females at 2' tall with little yield and shitty smoke due to heat problems. this grow will be much better, but i have to cover my ass.
