i was never impressed by LED grows. i've seen them that friends have done side by side compared to a HPS and the HPS always won. times have changed over the past couple years. what about this LED http://www.stealthgrow.com/products.htm the 1250 HO? looks pretty impressive to me. seen a youtube video and the brightness looked extremely intense.
i never liked LEDs but what about this?

i personally love LED's. as they stand now, they are GREAT for vegging. they keep nodes tighter than any other light in my experiences.
can be a bit of a problem with certain strains.
they are also amazing for enhancing spectrum. I am using 2 x 120w led's to add in some red to flower under my ho t5.
currently out of room in flower.
LED's have already come a long way since the debut, and have some real potential in the future.
When I have the budget, I will be doing a DIY led build, shooting for a 900w full spectrum.
going to up the light coverage and go head to head with a 1000w and see how it holds up.

Yeah, but it's only thirty-five hundred dollars!
lol right. 3.5k $ for a tiny 4x4 space. thats smaller than my tent. and 1/4 size of my other flower room. i'd need like at least 5 of them for sufficient coverage. good luck to anyone wishing to make their money back anytime soon. cant get high dollar for weed where i live anymore. medical laws and people like myself keep it extremely cheap compared to the old street prices. prices for good medical here is roughly the same as it was over 10 years ago and the smoke is even better now. with inflation and so many more jewish dealers it should be almost twice as much. fuck the greedy asshole scum dealers. legit medical is where it's at.
you hit the head on the nail bro. the only other exception is the new plasmas. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=atrKO1tnNBY im gettin one of these. friend of mine thats big on selling equip here in the states is trying to hook up with one of their wholesalers to get them in the USA for sale here in town. these have an ever better spectrum than HPS along with the intensity and penetration. also you get your UV which hps lacks.
im all for the hps otherwise. nothing compares.
