I noticed webbing and brown spots on the edges

Hello fellow growers I can’t seem to Identify what Miticide I’m dealing with or if I’m dealing with multiple. I did notice a thin web line between two leaves but no spider mites , not under a 30x or 60 x scope this is the only plant that looks like out of the whole grow. I’m growing auto flowers btw and the plant is showing signs of flowering. I don’t plan on leaving it inside, since it has not recovered. My question is what kind of mite inflicts this sort of damage. I will attach a picture of the surrounding plants and healthy plants from the same strain. I plan on sanitizing my tent and observing the rest of the plants for further signs. I will also spray some Neem oil, and I hope I don’t have to use Avid. It’s 36 days from seed. Some of my plants are in early flowering. I dont want this to become an issue during flowering.

Spider mites no question. Look under the leaf toward the veins. Those dots are a sure sign. Good luck bro. SMH. This is why I went HYDRO.

The light brown (spider mites)are usually at the bottom closest to the soil, they reside under a very thin layer of webbing, it’s water proof!! Spray/wash by hand with antibacterial dish soap. Use a tall glass of “cold water add 3 -4 drops of (SOAP ONLY!!!) spray and clean your babies diligently!! I put up a hell of a fight but still lost. Leaf by leaf away my hard work and money went. The harvest was pitiful brother. Lol. It shook me to the core bro. to ever do a indo grow again. Lol. My poor wife would come home to mud, sun leaves & perlite to her knees. But was always there to wipe that tear of frustration from my eye. She would say.... go pack a bowl babe. And I humbly go to the top shelf.

I like to treat with 3 or 4 options and rotate. Azamax, green cleaner, diy option and then if I need totally organic lady bug killer. A few weeks of treatments ever 4 days or so does it

Thanks you for your advice, it’s much appreciated,I’m not losing my precious baby girls . I’ll definitely incorporate green cleaner, somebody is gonna be working overtime this holiday .

I've also been having good results with 99% iso mixed with equal parts water and a drop of dish soap, you can make that for under $7. They can live up to a month, so think like 8 treatments minimal. Don't dick around with little spray bottles, invest at least $20 for the pump kind that has a nice angle and spray the shit out of the bottom of their leafs. If you use the iso mix don't smoke. Use that stuff and your grow room will smell like a bomb.

Treat treat treat and when you think you have killed them all and you don't see any activity treat treat treat. Go longer than you think you have to.

There are two types of growers: those that have had spider mites, and those that haven't had spider mites yet. Easy enough to get rid of but you must be diligent and make sure they're gone before flower. If you get them in flower for the most part you're done. Neem and dr. bronners, method 1 pps, any of them will work but you must hit them every 3 days, 6 times. That way you've made sure the all the eggs that could hatch have and you've killed what comes out. every 3 days, 6 times. good luck!

If you can't find any mites with the naked eye, it could be something else or even a strange environment/feed issue, If your new growth keeps taking a strange hit, look up broad/russet mites.

Normal spider mite damage below, small white blotches/dots that are near each other & how easy it is to spot with the naked eye.

This is spider mite webbing, it doesn't get any thicker than this nor do they leave long singular webs, is this the type of webbing you found?

fyi, I've gotten the borg in aeroponics and hydro, that isn't a sure fire fix. I now spray neem preventatively and vacuum religiously outside the rooms to keep from tracking anything in.

if you only have a small infestation, on only the one plant, move the other plants away from it (to possibly slow them from migrating to the clean plants) and you could try predatory mites. I have fought spider mites multiple times with them, in flower, and it takes care of the problem every time. I typically use

Neoseiulus (= Amblyseius) californicus - 1,000​
Phytoseiulus persimilis - 2000​
​
from arbico. Not gonna say its the best or only way, but I have done it and always had a good experience. They take a week or two before you start seeing positive effects on the spider mites, but it just takes them a minute to go to every part of your plants finding the pests.

If your seeing a ton of webs or clear evidence that you are dealing with a major infestation, they won't help.

No I saw one thread on one plant and have sprayed with pyrherin, Ecowork EC( generic Azamax), greencleaner and insecticidal soap is coming up next, I‘m in pre flower, so I hope got most of them little harvest ruining Bastards. I’m keeping an eye on temperature, if it’s broad mites, they’re getting the same miticide treatment. The problem is I cant really see what’s biting my plant, the scope 60x is not doing it; however, they are showing better growth signs after trimming off most of the infected leaves. The best advise I can give is keeping an eye on mold as you spray a bunch of mixes to rid of one problem you dont want another.

This is all you need in your soil to take care of mites, thrips, gnats etc. The hypo will live in your soil for the life of the plant assuming you don't let the soil dry to dust. And once you are free from deficiencies or toxicies you won't have any pests because those pests only go for unhealthy plants as they don't see healthy plants as a food source.

You might want to look up common cannabis pests so that you can get familiar with the type of damage from one another, its worth it because you want to catch them before its too late, especially the species that are hard to spot even at 60x.

Check under those leaves.

2 tsp neem oil, good squirt dish soap, 1 liter warm water. Shake well and spray every 3 days for 9 days. Make sure to spray the whole plant including the underside of the leaves and the soil surface. This has worked for me every time.

Iso/water mix nuked them for me after 2 applications, cheap as hell to make, i also mist them periodically as a preventative measure
