I now understand those "I think I'm dead" people.

ok well hey there friends of this guy, he just said he didn't have any friends and came here for people to talk to while getting high. i kind of feel sorry for him but not really. i see why he has no friends in real life. i do and we are going out to dinner. if you guys want to gather around later i will come back and we can arrange some fun :eyesmoke:

I have friends but only 2 smoke, and they have to go to work. I'm on a 3 year vacation. I have more free time to smoke then they do. I'm looking for people more in the same scenario as me to hang out and smoke with.

I am home now though, and about to test out the roor I just bought.

Ive thought about this exactly idea. Basically the possibility of, if you were to experience a 'near death experience' that you actually died in that dimension, and continued your life in another, with a scenario that caused you to escape death. In actuality you died, but continued on in another world/dimension. So a question to this idea is when would you die? A set age?

One reason I don't like this is because I've died like 20 times, and it's starting to hurt!

That is the fun part of the thought. Is there a death, or in at least 1 dimension we live on forever? If there are an infinite number of dimensions, in at least once you become invulnerable to death I would hope.

I'm looking into that cryogenics stuff as it is.. it isn't that bad of a deal really. They have a head only package for people that don't wanna spend too much... but I really wouldn't want to come back as just a head, we've all seen Futurama... it doesn't look like all that much fun.

It's a pretty trippy subject, the human body ages and reaches a point of deterioration phase, which is inevitable, where the cells just cannot function correctly. So the idea of death Does exist. Yet i believe death is associated for humans when a body can no longer possess a conscious. I don't believe a conscious can experience death to our definition per se. The idea of death is interesting because nothing can be proved or disproved. Yet,the chemical released upon death, DMT, is extremely interesting because of it being known to be in just about all living organisms....seems were all connected.

I feel like I recently saw a show on Science Channel talking about research into regeneration at the cellular level, specifically looking into why cells deteriorate and finding ways to slow or stop that deterioration. I need to research that a little more, I vividly remember seeing this.

I remember watching some program that had one of the 'mythbuster' guys, and he explored future medical practices that encouraged the idea of immortality. Pretty cool stuff, talked about why cells breakdown, and how they could counter the natural process. Also talked about another idea of switching bodies, supporting the idea that our bodies are replaceable, and that we are only 'Spirits' that use bodies as our host.

Yea, I remember seeing that, or something similar to that, too.

I mean, we know that our thoughts are merely electrical pulses fired off in our brain, and somehow stored in the brain. It seems only logical that at some point humans will be able to figure out how to extract that data, and map how the electrical pulses are fired, and can then emulate it. Thus, giving us the ability to "copy" humans.

My mind just got blown.
