Years ago I joined RIU and people helped me refine my growing skills. Since then I have started hundreds of grows and oversaw over 500,000 watts of growing power. I have owned my shop for over ten years and help people everyday with their growing needs. I have not only my own experience but the experience of thousands of other growers that I have helped. Currently I run 3 grows: 16,000 watt DE grow and 2-10,000 watt SE grows. I have done hydro and soiless, CO2, and sealed. Now I spend more time with my kids and grows and my wife runs the shop. So here I am back on RIU after several years of growing and baby making. I can hook you up with advice and equipment and make your grow successful. So how can I help?

HAHAHAHAHAHA years ago my wife and I were travelling to Vancouver BC for 4/20 and we stopped in Seattle. she had to use the restroom and we went into some building and this glass art piece was in the lobby. I think it looks like artsy trichomes.

Nutrients are only as good as the grower. I know guys who use alpaca poo and do soil tests on their outside crops with fantastic results. I used AN when they first came out but didn't know what I know now and paid the price literally. Currently because I own the store I use a little of everything. Let me clarify...I use a base grow(veg) and bloom(flower) fertilizer and cherry pick all the other supplements. Like carbs/silica/amino/kelp/bennies/alfalfa meal/brewers yeast/fulvichumic...and the list goes on.

to answer your question, yes H&G are solid nutrients. just never get fooled over the hype. All these companies are trying to make money. Feel free to call them up and ask why would you use their product over another and do your research.

The one thing I will not do without are bloom boosters/carbs/bennies(also Mammoth P) and hygeia hydration.

I’m having a lot of trouble from Week 6 on. Way too much plant yellowing.

I’m growing indoors in coco under 600w.

House and garden nutrients.
6 ml Base Coco A/B
2 ml Bud Xl
2 ml Cal Mag
And my problems seem to start when I introduce
3 ml Top Booster for Week 6
1.5 to 3 ml Top Shooter for Week 7 and 8.

ph balanced to 6.0.

My flower is turning dry and crispy with full loss of sugar leaves, as well as yellowing/dying/falling off fan leaves.

I’m using half recommendation on the H&G nutrients.

Someone made an interesting point yesterday.

The feed chart recommendations are made for 1000w lights, and if you’re using 600w or 400w that you should dial back accordingly.

If I mixed up H&G at their recommendation, I’d be over 2000ppm.

yes should regularly check ph meter calibration. guy had a problem last week. swore it wasn't ph. after talking with him awhile found out he had his ph pen 6 months and never checked his calibration and he stored it dry between testings..... face palm lol. was back a few days ago. his pen tested ph7.01 at 5.5.
