If using Firefox, check your ad blockers and such in "add-ons"; if turned on you'll be blocking.

I switched to chrome and turned off everything I could on firefox, still no ads, no banners. Are they pop ups? banner ads?

They are banner ads but they’re not obnoxious depending on what the advertiser pays it doesn’t always cycle an ad on ever page for every user

I don’t have a sold list since advertisers come and go all the time it would be too much for me to update to be completely honest the advertising section is updated though

Do guest see the banners? I have not noticed missing ads anywhere else hmm.. maybe cause they are missing haha.
I'll try my tablet without same antivrus i guess. Not sure what else it might be.

yes a guest will see a banner should the banner be cycling through
if you have ad blocker it will remove your ads. so it will depend on your personal PC set up.
again, not every person will always get an ad it cycles

It is likely you have ad blocker on if you have never seen an ad and dont ever see them though.
