No it wasnt even that. Kimbo did imporove in his takedown defense a tad but when he went down, He could not get up for anything. Nelson was also super sloppy. hitting him with,as dana put it, "Letting his daughter hit him" hits.

The guy acted like he fought good. He stated he "Babe ruth'ed" the fight by calling that he would win in a crucifix. Of course his fat ass would win in a crucifix, like rampage said you cant move the moon.

I wasn't impressed with the fight. He's terrible on the ground so far, but hopefully by the end of the season he'll gain some improvement and we'll at least get to see another fight.
They're right on the show though, he's humble as fuck and hungry to learn, Rampage seems to really like the guy.
Also, one other thing you gotta remember, Roy Nelson's not some push over, that guy is the former IFL heavyweight champ. He's got a lot of experience. Though his performance didn't impress me much either...

And this is why i think kimbo lost. If he went in not knowing that, thinking hes just some fat guy that trains in his house and only has 3 or 4 fights under his belt, i think kimbo would have went in there and knocked him out.
and why didnt kimbo buck or squirm ir do somthing to get out.
And yeah i think he will do somthing in the sport. he is so damn hungry, its a shame he is on rampages team. not that i dont like rampage i just think hes a shitty coach.

On another note the fight between Mcsweeny and Wes Shivers was also a disappointment.
Those guys kept resting when Shivers was winded he was wide open for a full on board assault. On numerous occasions.
Shivers had reach and strength but no Stamina.
James looked like he had a hard time getting in there and wasnt aggressive enough to step inside.

Agreed. At the end of that second round shivers could have gotten decimated. Its understandable to be winded and tired, but when the fight ends and you collapse after 2 rounds. your not ready. I wish there would have been a 3rd round.

The second fight you guys are right, it was ridiculous! The guy was exhausted by the second round! Anyone else would have destroyed that guy! Did you see how Rashad was getting PISSED the guy wasn't pouncing?!

I wanna see that big guy Marcus fight, but it's prolly gonna be just like the other one, he looks like he's gonna get winded fast..

I think Roy Nelson just ruined any chance he had of fighting in the UFC. After the fight he stood up and ran to Dana White asking if he could get a double whopper with cheese because he was hungry. He thinks hes the shit but in reality hes just a fat fuck and the sad thing is that that's the only reason hes a good fighter. Think about it, could YOU have gotten that big SOB off of you?

Yeah, his conduct after the fight was pretty sad...
They said he weighed in at 264 before the fight right? I clock in at around 185, no way I could... Kimbo was 233 I think.
Dana commented on it so it's not like it's going un noticed. Dana White is awesome, seriously! Just gotta say. He seems like he'd be a great boss.
