I spent a long time researching strains, can you help me choose two?

Agree with the others, you can't control the size of an auto, or the timing of an auto and the crop is always disappointing.
Photo's you choose the final size, large or small ...... up to you.

Cut a Critical Orange Punch photo earlier this week maybe 2oz..
Good crop, easy to grow and very frosty.View attachment 4586340

Also cut an Amnesia auto ....... around 1oz an OK result, and a White Widow auto ...... 1/2oz very disappointing.
Looks like you harvested way early.

No offense, but if you did "a lot of research" and thats what you came up with do more research. IDK where you're located but underground US breeders have exceptional cultivars. And to the people saying not to listen to breeders descriptions (sorry I dont how to @ people), take that with a grain of salt. The breeders you listed are commercial breeders that, more than likely, do everything inhouse and might not have the best info, but I have done some work for US underground breeders and their descriptions are relatively close to the the grow reports I send to them (I assume I'm not the only one testing their new gear and they're using averages of all the info they get back. Also, phenos can differ within cultivars). A few that I would recommend are Mass Medical Strains, Docs Dank Seeds and Mosca Seeds. At last check, they could all be found at dcseedexchange. If you're really interested in genetics check out seedfinder.eu it may not be 100% accurate but its a good idea of what you're growing.

I vote for the CBD skunk haze. Just a really nice smoke and for me it works for the aches and pains and headaches etc. The others i don't much experience with. Whatever you choose, good luck :)

Are in the US? If so, I'd highly recommend some local breeders, like Useful, Katsu, 3thirteen, Eso's, Bohdi, AK Bean Brains etc. Seedbanks like Great Lakes Genetics, JBC and DC Seed Exchange are very reasonable and will get you your seeds much quicker and more reliably than the overseas banks right now. Plus all their genetics are fire and they usually have great freebies!

If you want auto's and you live in the US, I would only look at Mephisto or NightOwl, Period. Mephisto actually just launched their first high CBD strain CannaCheese last month. The store isn't open yet but should be soon, have to keep an eye on it as they go quick, but all their gear is better than anything you listed.

From what you are saying it sounds like you want a more sativa or haze type high. Most autos are bred to be fast, and indica/ruderalis hybrids are how they do that.. Just do a decent sativa heavy photo.

I'm in the uk, and used sites like leafly and some others to see what people liked, as well as reddit. I saw dutch passion was rated highly in a few places so I focused on them for a lot of the strains.

I have looked at seedfinder.eu that's where i found Jilly bean as it mentioned how good it was for pain and stress.

I'll take everything on board from here, i do really appreciate your time

@ComfortCreator thank you, i will look up your recommendations!

Good luck with your grows! what strains have you chosen?
This grow: a couple seeds of each: Chem Cookie Trip from Useful, Ghost Town from Greenpoint seeds, Missy's Stash from Dragon's Flame Genetics, EEEEE! From Mass Medical Strains and Bubba Cough x Dragon's Stash v2 that I got in an auction. The Missy's Stash were all boys so I'll try again next grow. Next grow: Missy's Stash, G13 Genius and Banana Hash Plant from Country Line Genetics, 9lb hammer from Jinxproof and Spartan Kush from Spartan Family Gentics. I don't actually have room for all that so some may get pushed to a later grow. Especially since I also have some clones going too.

But the key is to explore a bit and see what's out there.

Jillybean is actually decent. Earlier in the thread there were a couple of comments about how strains are named...nothing is more true than the fact that the more tantalizing a strains name is...95% of the time its BS. The other 5% are great.

The reason is ANYBODY can cross strains and call it ANYTHING. There is no central registry for cannabis names! A few are patented in the USA due to our exceptional ability to monetize all things here...but the truth is you and i can take any kind and call it anything we want.

The only sources you can trust then are reputable ones and other growers you meet and who trust you enough to share their genetics.

There are several "classic" strains that are ones that most other strains came from. Once you have tried most of those it becomes easier to fit together what happens when 2 of those kinds are crossed. The vast majority of crosses, even of good strains, is a failure -- mediocre.

Not only does a breeder have to select good strains to cross, they also need to find phenos that work well together.

It comes down to this...just because strain A is great, and strain B is great, does not automatically mean new strain AB will be a perfect blend of the 2. Often they dilute each other and lose their best characteristics.

Ive done 2 x Dutch Passion auto strains (Polar Lights #3, Euforia. Both yielded 1.5g/w these were my first 2 grows, i lost bud to rot both times maybe 15/20% so probably more like 1.7g/w if id had better venting. Fantastic bud. Im a sativa guy, suffer(ed) from depression, needed something to get the motivation and productivity going and i couldnt be happier with my stash. The PL is a pure haze x ruderalis and you need to be careful, its more prone to cause slight anxiety so look for something with a bit of indica to take the edge off.
Check out the DP sub on autoflower.net, Tang and Seymopur Buds are absolutely killing it with DP autos.
So yeah I can absolutely recommend DP Autos.
Good luck!
