If it's your personal I wouldn't worry about it just make sure that it's not a danger for u to smoke it you will still get good bud off it won't be A+++ but still good stuff

Could be how you cured it. If you dry it too fast, and don't have a way to get the humidity back up, it can lose flavor quickly. Btw, no cough is a good thing. Especially if the ash burns white. That means you don't have a lot of excess nutrients or contaminants left over from the grow.

I second this, or third, or fourth it,..I haven’t been following the debate ha. But yea, sounds like the plants weren’t cured properly. If they looked good, and YOU personally grew it,..then the drying and curing process seems to be the issue. I never paid attention to the curing process for the first couple harvest and my weed seemed to have the same consistent taste, hay or ammonia. Just using those desiccant packets did wonders
