how do u know if u have seeds please post a pic or some thing im freaking out
Why freak out over seeds ?,they do not effect the quality of the smoke in any way.
I thought that once pollinated, the plant focus attention on making seeds and slows down resin production.
(but I think I have a male and been trying for a son for making seeds)
Good to know! Thanks. I guess strain can play a big part of that too. What im slowly finding out with some help from fdd is that this is not allways the case,it depends on how heavy the pollination was,a light pollination will produce seeds but new fresh bud growth will take over once the seeds are formed,im seeing that it does slow bud production for a moment but does not stop it & that bud production will come back to near normal levels .
It all depemds on how much pollen was taken in by the female.
Im not sure, this is my first real try at breeding & most of my info is from reading & picking fdd's brain, hopefully ive done everything right but i have faith in fdd's info more so than the hype i read about seeded plants.Good to know! Thanks. I guess strain can play a big part of that too.
If its heavily seeded, think its best to harvest a little earlier?

I plan on doing 3 seperate harvest times from the same crop,if you'd like i can pm you any details about any differences is seed or bud quality after the harvest.
I can say one thing about the supposed lack of resin production due to seeds,so far i see no indicators that this is the case, the buds are allmost dripping in resin & the resin layer looks just as frosty as the other non seeded plants of the same strain, the bud size is a bit smaller with the seeded buds but there's still time left for them to catch up so we'll see in the end.
I have a seed crop in now only parts are pollinated.
So what was the point of that?"What im slowly finding out with some help from fdd is that this is not allways the case,it depends on how heavy the pollination was,a light pollination will produce seeds but new fresh bud growth will take over once the seeds are formed,im seeing that it does slow bud production for a moment but does not stop it & that bud production will come back to near normal levels ".

...lol...
Ok but how does this apply to what bigbudballs & i are talking about, also the information im quoting is based on 2 side by side grows with one intentionally seeded & the other a complete sensi grow,im no expert at breeding either but i atleast wait until all the information has been gathered before i condem something as being a negative thing. While I am no FDD I do know that when a plant has to use energy to make seeds it has less to make flowers. I don't know about you I want my plants makein flowers not seeds.
Lol my ass fuck head,i get your point very clearly & took it exactly as you intended."What im slowly finding out with some help from fdd is that this is not allways the case,it depends on how heavy the pollination was,a light pollination will produce seeds but new fresh bud growth will take over once the seeds are formed,im seeing that it does slow bud production for a moment but does not stop it & that bud production will come back to near normal levels ".
