I think I over germinated.

Hey guys,

Is it possible to over germinate? I forgot about some seeds I put into a wet napkin and today I checked them out and they had grown out of the seed. I planted them anyways, my question is will they still grow?

sure they will, so long as they were kept nice and moist...

i've actually seen someone leave his in a napkin so long that it already have like a full set of leaves growing, not counting cotylodens, and he said that's how he always germs his gear..

Damn that's awesome, thank dude. I'm just not sure if I have a male or female. So I planted a few more in hopes of getting a female... heres hoping

Yea they will be fine as long as they were kept moist like racer said. Only thing is they are more fragile in that state is all. At least you know they germinated :)

happened to me once!

i ended up keeping that strain for years.

It's best to plant as soon as you see the taproot for structural reasons.

It's not a huge problem to plant them late, but if you wait too long to plant, the trunk might grow out sideways, and then up. (like an S) Not too good structurally. In that situation, it's usually good to plant the taproot down and let the plant bend itself upwards.

All you need to do is make sure that long white taproot is down in the soil and the seed is pointed up, it will take care of the rest.

Why not just put the seed directly in the dirt? I don't get the extra steps. I have a 100% germ rate when I place the seed directly into the one and final pot.

People tend to over water baby plants when in a big pot... I use little cups until it's about 2 weeks old then transplant to a bigger pot to avoid adding to much water... I assume if you have your girls oN a water for water you shouldn't have any issues.

This is how I pull a pound or more per plant. Solo cup for a week. Two gallon pot for a week and a half. Then to a 25 gallon pot, and veg for three weeks... thats how you pull pounds... only use a T5 for rooting. Once I have roots straight to the hps...
