Have you ever drove a Ferrari?I would love to.

Someday I'll hit the lottory or something and I'll walk my ass into FC Kerbeck with like 2 million in cash and grab a couple Ferrari's.

can we blame it on the prius?
i think it's safe to assume that the prius driver was very close to losing his life the other day...

i know on the tour i was talking about to the race, the tour group drove us to the race on a bus, and some of the other tour members were fuckng loaded.. where as i have to scrape and save up all year to afford my trips, some of these people go from one race straight to the next the week later and don't even sneeze at the cash..
well, in italy, there was this couple, and you could just tell that they had cash.. they were all talking about the ferraris that they owned, blah blah blah, and how their neighbor had a "gawdy" buggati veryon, and who needs a 1k hp car.. i think they were just a wee bit jealous..
anyhoo's, on the ride to the circuit, the bus was going around a round about, and a prius cut us off.. that couple went off on that prius, all saying that they live in their prius world and shit, it was funny to listen to the hatred these people had of that lil prius and it's owners...

nah man, i'd give my left nut, the big one, to get behind the wheel of a ferrari, or even say a lambo, but i'm a bigger ferrari fan for the most part..

i had a chance to go to the ferrari factory when i was in italy, but it was another couple of hundred bucks and another day added to the tour, and i just didn't have the money for both me and my girl to go, so i didn't make it, still pisses me off to this day knowing i was so close, yet so far..

i also could have paid to have been driven by a professional driver in i think it was a viper, around this one old track in germany that was 13 miles long and all regular public roads out in the woods and shit.. like 100 some turns, and an average speed of well over 100mph... again, lack of funds kept me from that as well..

I'm with you on this. It is a crying shame to see all that gorgeous Italian metal crumpled and ruined. My business adjoins a exotic car mechanic that specializes in Porsche, Audi, Mercs, and Ferraris. On the other side of the street is a exotic car dealer that buys/sells them from all over the US so I get to see, hear and occasionally drive one of these works of art. A few weeks ago the mechanic invited me over for a ride in a truly rare bird, 2010 Ferrari 458 "Italia". It was in for routine maintenance (he said the invoice for the work was just under $3000). While he never allowed me any time behind the wheel I was completely smitten with this car. To say it is simply "quick and responsive" is a huge understatement. Violent acceleration with a sound that would raise the dead.

yah, it would have been amazing i'm sure i'd have a grin from ear to ear no doubt.

the even have a two seater f1 race car that is used mostly for like pr work for sponsors and what not that looks like it would be bad ass to ride in.. the only thing i don't like about it i the passenger seat is seated behind the drivers seat, so you really can't see too much i'd think..

i'd much rather be driving one though.. i have often thought about having a job at a nice car magazine.. those people get to test drive all sorts of exotic shit all of the time, not to mention they often get loaners for like a year long for stories as well.. would be a dream job behind actually being a paid race driver imo..

I live near the Santa Monica Mountains - probably the best place in the west to drive a sports car.

I drive a Porsche Cabrio - '84.

You see a lot of cool cars around here, I have a Ferrari dealer down the hill.

I have gone on rides with Jay Leno, all kinds of cars.

Put some racing rubber on a Porsche and they eat of the longer cars in the mountains.

Just sayin :joint::peace:
