i'm pretty sure one of my babies is a male, week 5 of veg and its preflowers are pretty much textbook from what i've see out there in the wild world of web. i've also read that it's possible to make hash or butter from males. the question is, does it have to be fully matured to get anything out of it? (it actually already has some resin glands right now)
like i said i'm PRETTY sure it's a male. i've seen preflowers for about 10 days or so and none of them popped pistils. how long does it usually take from the time you see the preflowers for those beautiful pistils to pop out?

Post some pictures, it will help more than anything. If using a digi camera make sure to choose the macro setting to get good close up.

won't be able to post pics until tomorrow, but from what i can tell under 70x magnification, it doesn't look good. i see what looks like a pinecone on a stick. i'm definitely hopeful and gonna let it go a little while longer just to be sure

is it showing little balls yet?? or big ones?? could be a hermi if it has both but we do need to see the real deal to actually tell ya..gl..

Give it another week, its not like they are going to pollinate your girls with preflowers. That would be hilarious and some strong male genetics / bad luck.

well, getting back to one of my original questions, does the male plant have to be mature to make hash or butter?
