Ok, i wana start a hydro system but no clue wut to do or wut to use for a hydro system. Could someone show me some pics of a system and tell me how to make one.
the light yes, but not the seeds or clone. if you get a clone, where are you going to put it. and a light is part of the hydro setup.
smoke, widowmaker has a real good hydro setup as well a lot of people here do. do a search and see what you can find. if you need a link to a pretty inexpensive one, i may be able to help you out depending on what you want.
Does anyone search the forums anymore? There are great posts on bubble bucket (DWC) systems. Check the journals for hydro systems... I show pictures of mine and give basic details on the setup. Teach a man to fish and all that good stuff
I have
-2 Hid lights
-air raider/air stone
-fan
-Great seeds
all i need is the nutrents water that im going to be getting from my buddy and how to construct a hydroponics system. ill check out that movie.
I have bin growing with the normal soil and shit for a coupple seasons, but wana start getting, better bud
The very dead-simplest recirculating hydro method is a flood system, aka 'ebb & flow.'
Plants live in pots which sit in a plastic flood tray, usually 4-6" deep. A timer-operated aquarium type centrifugal pump floods the tray periodically. An overflow tube sets the max flood level and carries excess back to the reservoir. When the flood cycle is complete, water which does not return through the overflow tube runs 'backward' through the centrfugal pump
and back into the reservoir.
Unlike more complex systems like drip & aero, it is virtually impossible to clog a flood system. Easy to clean- 5 mins with a bristle brush to clean nute residue out of the tray and reservoir tank every couple of weeks.
it's good if you experience a lot of power outages. rockwool will hold water. i've left my plants without flooding for a week and they were fine. had a friend with an aero setup and he lost everything, EVERYTHING. power went out for 6 hours, roots dried up. he's ebbin & flowin now. you could buy a generator though.
