Please help I have a 21 day old bagseedling and it looks horrible to me tell me what I am doing wrong.......

I have her under two 42watt (150watt equiv each) she is also in a 8inch pot with MG organic. I know shes in a bigger pot than she needs but will that really affect her that much??

anyways I took some pictures of her on my iphone (camera is broke) but shes turning yellow and she sprouted on Feb 10th!!!! isnt she tiny for being almost a month old??

any comments would be great because I am getting some OG Kush seeds from a friend and I want them to turn out great!!!

Looks like she is suffering from root development issues. This is typical when propagating seeds in the wrong medium. MG Organic sounds to me like thats regular grow soil rather than a specialized seedling potting mix. Often when seedlings propagate and find themselves in nutrient rich soil such as soils with slow release fertilizers in them, the development of their roots tends to go on hold, and that leads to the plant stunting.

ya she is tiny

and i say it again, i agree with jonas. a root issue has stunted the development of the top part of the plant. most likely because of the rich MG soil burning the root when it was still young. i think its best to start seedlings in a small cup of plain soil, or even something soil-less, like rockwool or vermiculite. seeds have everything they need to begin their lives stored in the cotyledons so nutrients usually harm instead of help a baby seedling

I have the same problem, with different specifics:

Start 3 beans in jiffy cups 4's, with Jiffy Seedling Starting mix. This was about 2/15/2010. Sprouted a few days later. They grew to the same height you have , and the leaves (which consisted of nothing but the first two jaggy leaves and 2 clover looking leaves) were curled downwardand had kind of a pale green look with yellow on the VERY tip of the leaves. They didn't grow not a damn centimeter after that. Nothing. Kept seedling mix moist, not sopping wet(even though the seedling mix was hell to regulate moisture with ...dried up to fast).

Was waiting to see if they would finally grow again so I could plop the cups into their new home (10'' pots)once the reach the second set of leaves, or became at least it was 1'' 1/2 tall. That never happened. So, instead of them getting even further along with no progress, I put them in their new pots. I put the cups directly in the pots with:
Scotts regular potting soil(80%)
perlite(20%)
no nutes added(soil has small amounts already)

Watered them good and stuck them back in the grow closet. Just by the end of the day, the leaves had perked up, and even new leaves were starting to sprout out from the center finally! This was almost a week ago. They seem much happier now, but still no major growth yet, but I'm sure it will come in the next few days(hopefully).
Did some net searching and found that it was most likely from nute deficiency, coupled with moisture stress(the constantly drying too fast thing).

Also, the light Im using is cfl. 4 26w 2700k, 2 42w 2700k, and a 125w with both 6500k and 2700k that I just added yesterday.

Hopefully they get a growth spurt here soon.

P.S. - Not trying hijack ur thread by the way, op. lol

personally i dont think its the mg soil. mg organic does not contain time release in it. ive used it and grown wit no prblems. ur problem i think is that the pot is way to big for that size plant and due to that ur pots are stayin way to wet to long after waterins and thats prbly wer ur root problem is comin from

pot size isnt even an issue. plants grow on the earth just fine; thats like the largest pot in the world
